- frustrated replies to Texas01| 1 replyNo, I actually contacted a lawyer who is working on the case. I'm suing Alan Parker and his company for harrassment and what he told my sister. Not only that he never sent a letter to the address I supplied to him regarding the payday loan he was collecting for so my thought is that his company is collecting for themselves.
- Texas01 replies to frustratedI also asked for information and they were going to email it to me but I never received it. So I didn't make a payment to them. I think if they were really going to pursue having someone arrested for not making a payment to them. Why would they continue to follow up with you for the payment? Rich Frankling called my mother and got her all upset about me having a warrant for my arrest but if she could get intouch with me that he may be able to help me. So she was all upset about the entire thing.
Good luck to you please keep us updated on your outcome with this. - Texas01| 5 repliesI received another call today from LTA.
The message said that I have 48 hours to call them back and that I have been legally notified and good look. If they were going to do something shouldn't of they already done it by now. Then one of them called and got me at work. He started to tell me that he needs a statement from me and I told him I have never received the information that they said that they were sending to me via email. So I told him I am not talking to him until they send it to me and hung up. Then he called me back and said well maybe I should read it to you as he proceeds to do so...I hung up on him again. What a JERK! I received a voice mail from Rich Frankling on Friday afternoon that said I have great great news for you! Just call me back at 512-340-0493. UGH!- Caller: LTA
- Darth replies to Texas01| 2 repliesI've dealt with these morons like these. They're not going to do anything except harass and threaten. Lawyers do not call people ahead of time to tell them they're receiving warrants or that the sheriff is coming over. What are you supposed to do, make them lunch? If they were going to do anything, they'd just do it and you'd have been served or arrested or whatever by now. The collectors I dealt with always pulled the same shoddy, transparently phony BS: they always called themselves "special investigators," like that was supposed to make me quake with fear; they always tell you that you have "72 hours" to respond - and then "48" and then "24" and then what? Then they start over at "72" all in an attempt to induce panic so you'll do something stupid, like take them seriously. Read the rest of the posts on this site. These guys are obviously lowlifes and frauds and they're taking advantage of people's insecurity and gullibility. Once I knew I owed these slobs nothing, I bought a device for my phone that blocks any number I choose and I've been blissfully undisturbed. Some phone companies provide blocking services and others allow you to forward numbers. I once forwarded some sleazy collector's number back to another of their own lines. Forwarding their calls to porn lines works too. So just ignore them, block them, and whatever you do, don't fall for their act.
- Texas01 replies to DarthThank you for your input. I hate for these idiots to call me at work. I think they may of even called human resources department because when I answered the call it came from a number with in my company. This person who called me started to talk to me like a child. I just kept hanging up on him and they idiot kept calling back. Well I will just keep hanging up on him. I wonder if any one has been successful with their lawsuits. I would love for them to get what's coming to them.
- just a little disgustedi received a call from this same company posing to be investigators. they called evryone that new me leaving messages stating that if i dont get in touch with them to tell my part of the story that they would have to put an arrest warrant out for me. i googled this company and found no information inregards to this company who they are or nothing it just states that it is a landline telephone number from at&t not a business number. i am just so pissed at them because they your job and eveyone that knows you leaving messages that you will go to jail and you are under investigation. they really need to be reported for doing this some people could lose their jibs for calling leaving those kind of messages, then they really wont get any money. what's funny is they dont tell you what company they represent (because there is no official name) but they can tell you where to send the money. please be aware this is more than likely a scam.
- not scared of you punk!!!| 1 replyI recieved a call from this company also and they called my references telling them a warrant has been issued for my arrest. This is illegal but they are taking illegal actions to try to get money they loaned to me illegally. I just found out it is against South Carolina law for them to loan money over the internet to a resident of South Carolina and they know this so they are doing everything possible to get money but they won't get a dime from me! HAHAHA! And the name is just to scare you! You ain't scaring me punks!

- not scaring me punks! replies to not scared of you punk!!!and furthermore I am a paralegal and I know that you can not arrest someone for failure to pay debts in almost any state! and they are frowning upon cash advance companies, they cannot do a thing to you besides maybe get a judgement against you which means if you come into some money one day or sale something of a lot of value, they can get their money! but who cares!
- not scaring me punk!! replies to Texas01Dont worry about them Texas! They cant do a thing to you except get a judgement like I said and you dont need to worry about that unless you have a lot of money which I am assuming you dont because if you did you would not have gotten a payday loan so dont worry! If you are that worried you could always file bankrupt and they couldnt even get a judgement but then that depends on how many loans you got out there. They are just trying to scare you so dont fall for it!
- not scaring me punks!! replies to noodlesHAHA and funny these messages were written on the same day! Mighty suspicious! You are just mad because you loan money illegally! You will never get a dime from me!
- wow| 4 repliesI received a call in regards to a family member who hasn't lived here in years so I looked up the number and found this site.
It amazes me how many people here borrowed money and feel it's ok to not repay the company they borrowed from, and instead want to sue for being told to pay back what they said they'd repay.
Harrassment from a bill collector is againist the law, but you people are unbelievable.
Nice to see Americans taking responsiblity for their actions!- Call type: Debt collector

- cb| 1 replyTHIS IS A HORRIBLE SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY OR INFORMATION!!!!
I took out a payday loan for $200 and paid it off. Right after I paid it off, the same company kept taking out money anyway!!! They took out so much money in one day that my account was in a negative balance of over $500!!! My bank suggested to close that account and open a new one. I did so. Over a year later, my references that were listed on my original payday loan were contacting me stating that a man was calling and harrassing them saying that I was going to be arrested for fraud. I did not contact this person back because I do not owe any money. I personally never received a call from this individual until this past Friday. I received a message from a Travis Watson stating that I need to call him back immediately or I will be arrested for bank fraud. In speaking to him, he stated that I still owed money on this payday loan because after I changed accounts they weren't able to take my money. How are they allowed to keep taking my money after it was already paid off? I had to change my account. I was in a negative amount and they would not stop taking out my money!!!!! He told me that I need to pay $202.50 by this Wednesday and another $300 on my next payday!!!!!! The loan is already paid off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do I get these people to leave me alone?!!!!!! He actually tried to get my bank account information over the phone. I did not give him any information. I told him that if his company feels that I owe money, to send it to me in writing. He said that he would email it to me. I have received nothing. I have noticed from other people's comments that the other names are Alan Parker and Rich Franklin. If you notice, these are all famous people's names!!! - JCBack in September 2007 I get a phone call at work and it was a guy called Travis Watson stating that he had a warrant for my arrest because I owe for a loan. First of all he didn't even say where he was calling from or anything else but that. Of course, I got scared and asked what was it for and he said that it was for a loan of $150 and that now I owe over $550. I told him that I could give him the Full amount of the loan so he can close my file and refused. Well I had to wire him $100 in order for him not to send the paperwork to the authorities.Anyway I was scared and wired the $100 a month later I get another call at work from a Rich Franklin stating the same thing that I falied to send more money and he had issued a warrant. I ignored it and a day later he calls me again at work and I was already gone and he went and told a co-worker my personal business that I commited a fraud and that I was going to go to jail for that. I was so mad when my co-worker called my cell to tell me about this guy, so right away I called the FTC and they recommended me NOT to send anymore money because this company is a SCAM they are not real. I'm just getting tired of all the phone calls I get at work (at least 5 times) everyday. I had asked for paperwork and refused to send it to me, I also asked for name and address of the Co. and also refused to give me that info. I think we all have to get together somehow and have these guys arrested.
I sent them a total of $175.
I have 3 different phone #'s for them which are:
(512)340-0890 , (512)340-0745 and (512)340-0493- Caller: LPA "aka" Cashnminutes.com

- JC replies to Texas01Did you ever called him back?
- JC replies to noodlesDo you reside in Texas? So, they did arrest you? I'm being harrassed on a daily basis.
- rican| 1 replyallen parker stated i had until friday to contact or he had 3 warrents to be issued for what who knows i think investigators should send these guys money with an alert so when they go to pick up the funds they will be arrested right then i hope they burn in hell
- Caller: lta
- JC replies to noodles| 1 replySo, you were arrested?? What state do you live at? The FTC said that it's against the law to arrest you without a warrant first. And besides, not even the IRS does that if you owe them money, they try to work affordable monthly payments. Well this morning at 6am I just had someone knock on my door but I did not open and it seemed like a Sheriff's car.
- annoyed| 2 repliesThese people have ruined my life and had me arrested for 3 days over a stupid loan that was over 6 months ago all because I had three NSF's drawn from my account which they considered to be a hot check. They still call but I make sure I pay on time now. A**holes!
