These people have ruined my life and had me arrested for 3 days over a stupid loan that was over 6 months ago all because I had three NSF's drawn from my account which they considered to be a hot check. They still call but I make sure I pay on time now. A**holes!

I recieved a call for a payday loan from this company too he said his name was richard frank and I appl;ied over the internet cause my credit score is too low for anything else and I was desperate so I took what I could. I was planning on paying them back but I got caught behind on my bills he told me several times that he was close to filing with some courts or something... I didn't believe him and I was served papers saying I have to be at court for this on march 3rd,08 I am really scared and the police officer told me that if I did not show up two things could happen either the judge would issue a warrant or i would go into default. can someone tell me what I should do?

Julian I will tell you right now that you need to make sure you show up for that court date. I am not to sure about the whole warrant deal but the judge will absolutely push it into default which means that whatever they say you owe is what you will be ordered to pay.

I wrote to the Office of the Attorney General in Austin Texas and they are going to do an investigation. The thing is we all have to write to them so the investigation will be faster. Below is their email address and also a website they gave me to Report them there as well.

There's someone else using my initial also (JC) the one above you babygirl is not me. I'm against all this because I'm also being harrassed I was the one that wrote to the Office of the Attorney General. Lets all put these guys in JAIL.......

OK so I thought they were lying but I was just served as well the officer was a constable who said companies file lawsuits on people all the time. This sucks because I have to miss work now and who knows what will happen

For one thing the issue is not that everyone here is saying its okay not to pay back this company. As a former debt collector we DO NOT HAVE the right to harrass nor imply that criminal charges are pending. Debt Collectors have the responsibilty to collect debt ethically and debtors have a responsibility to repay.

Called me for my sister and said that he was going to issue a warrent for her arrest for bank fraud, was not friendly but gave me her case #.  If this a fraud where are they getting the information from????

I received the call today and the guy "Allen Parker" was a total douche he said that I needed to show up in Texas for a payday loan that he said that I received from some bogus company. I just told him i would get a lawyer and have my lawyer contact him

I ALSO RECEIVED A CALL FROM TODAYU AT WORK FROM THIS GUY ALLEN PARKER FROM TEL #512-340-0493 WHO SAID THE SAME THING THAT I HAVE 24 HRS TO CALL HIM WITH MY SIDE OF THE STORY OR ELSE.

I ALSO TOOK OUT PAYDAY LOANS AND IS GOING THROUGH A TOUGH FINANCAL SITUATION PARTLY BECAUSE OF THESE PAYDAY LOANS, IT JUST SAD AND REALLY DISGUSTING WHEN PERSONS LIKE OURSELVES ARE GOING THROUGH TOUGH SITUATIONS TRYING TO GET BY, THESE BLOOD SUCKERS ARE OUT HERE DO THESE HORRIBLE THINGS TO PEOPLE AND IT JUST SEAMS LIKE THERE IS NO RECOURSE, THEY CALL YOU AT WORK THREATING YOU, SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE.

i was recently called by an investigator RJ Stone AT 512-340-0493 EXT 12 and he said that i had a warrent for my arrest because i had been given a loan that i didn't pay back. the thing is that i did't get any notice of any place that approved me for this loan and he said that it was erelavent because i applied for it so i am liable. then he said that i had to go to wal-mart and use a money gram express and pay to LTA with the account # CV070073077 God i hope that someone gets these guys!

a waarnt cant be issued unless its through a court of law .thats why cops ask we have warrnt for arrest.warrant  is  sign by the court and passed by the police to inmmeditly arrest .not enogh evendence to prove a unpaid loan .if your gonna be aressted your areested .im running free .allen parker and guys may be unknown.these guys are trained to froce payment .warrnt is not issued for an unpaid  payday loan .unless its robbery from a store .if its a checking fraud from some one else account brtend your somebody else .can be areested .cant arrest you for a late bill.its call credit fare act by law .thes guys are only collection  it depends on the state .its lies

i recd a call from mr parker he told my co workerker and my brother i was going to be arrested for fraud i took out a pay day loan two years ago and i had a illness that almost killed me i m just going back to work part time he threatened me with thw phone call what can i do

In some, if not all states, it's illegal for debt collectors to call you at work.

ec...thank you for making people aware we are here to help them. We can't get addresses on these people. We need that in order to file suit. If you have any info about physical locations inside the US,  that would make my job so much easier.

Here is an email that I received from LTA.  I paid 2 but missed my March 21st one.  Now they are giving me a courtesy call that I need to call their office and give a statement.  They are going to contact the DA and County Clerks office and press charges against me.
Amazing they can send me this information on my loan I owe but they can send me this.  Well I will make another payment just because I am sick of them calling my family and my work.

this guy apparently has an identity crisis... his name when he called me yesterday was "investigator" Watson. Very original, dont you think? and i believed him, like the sucker that i am. i freaked out over nothing, like most of you guys did. We just moved, so we have like no money at all. Come to find out, i can actually sue them since payday loans in vt are illegal.
