I just got a call from this number... I didnt answer as I was at work, call center for tech support. I googled the number and bam here I am.

Does anyone know how they get our numbers?

Just received a call from this number (514-288-0420) but they hung up when I answered.  I sure hope this doesn't become a regular thing as it is 10:45pm and I have 3 small children.  Aghhhhh.  So, how do I get on the do not call list?

I also got the call and hangup...with them doing it this much we should all call Bell and complain about prank calls.  I'd love to see these idiots lose their phone service.

Opinion Search is a legitimate survey company. They get hired by political parties to do polls, and they do regular market surveys.

If you participate, you can also get invited to Focus Groups and for those you get paid $50-$100 for your time.

I did one sponsored by the Canadian Mint on whether or not to do away with the penny and convert the $5 bill to a coin.

We've gotten 2 calls from this number. After looking up the number it says that it's a phone survey company. We're on the Do Not Call list and it says that phone surveyors are still allowed to call. Well, I think phone surveyors should be considered a type of telemarketer because they're just as bad if not worse!

I filed a complaint about this number at the National Do Not Call registry anyway. I will continue to keep filing complaints against this number ,and any other phone surveyors, until they finally stop. If your number has been on the National Do Not Call registry for at least 31 days then I urge you to do the same.

They said they were a polling company. They sound like as much of a scam as the actual do-not-call-list which apparently doesn't work very well to prevent unwanted calls.

They won't stop calling after 3 call backs to have me removed from the list!!!!!!!

These morons keep calling & I keep ignoring them. Do they have anyone that works for them that has a higher than kindergarten level education that knows that people that don't answer their stupid calls should be taken off the calling list?  Uncle Sam are you reading to these complaints?

Got a call from this phone number.  They were cold-calling financial "investments" for one of the deceased owners of my company.

called 8:59pm. did not leave message.

called at 9:47 pm (I think that's against the law, no?) I only answered because it was NOT an 800 (or 888) # (didn't recognize the area code... thought the call might matter). I didn't give them a chance to make the pitch because when they asked for my maiden name I said "put us on the DNC list. (I sensed a good deal of "attitude" in the "all right")

I googled the # when I felt angst for not finding out what it was about. The first hit was http://www.computerconsulting.ca/phone_nums.htm under the subject "Annoying Phone Numbers" and the second was this site! I feel much better. Thank you!

I rec'd a call from this number at 9 pm on a weekday.  My daughter has been ill, so she was sleeping in our bedroom.  Luckily, I had my ringer off.  I saw the light flashing and tried to answer.  The wonderful people at this number decided to hang up on the 3rd ring to us, so I didn't get to talk to anyone.  I tried calling back and it was busy.  Then, I looked up the number and it is a Canadian company with the name Opinion Search.  Go figure, probably US company getting a Canadian company to do their dirty work!  I don't think the harrassment laws would apply-if they do, please let all know.  Anyway, thanks someone out there for posting the website, so we can be added to their do not call list.  Hopefully, that will help!  Just keep reading down the postings, it will be there.

J'ai aussi reçu un appel de ce numéro dans ma boîte vocale.  Des bruits de fonds comme si la personne est soit en voiture ou autres sons.  La personne ne laisse pas de message. Au lieu de retourner l'appel j'ai vérifié sur google et je vois que vous aussi vous avez été contacté.  Ne pas faire suite àa leurs appels selon moi.
