I love your message! (above me) I also kept getting calls from this number, usually around 7 or 8 pm 515-309-2041. Marketlink Ink also. I never answer and they never leave a message so I have just blocked them. Service thru my phone provider.

I have been getting these calls everyday. Telemarketers called this morning i hung up on them, i didnt even say hello. Called the number back pressed 1 to stop recieveing these calls and put my number on their do not call list which takes up to 30 days to go through. I feel sorry for the next person to call me from there, i will not be polite, maybe i'll have a can horn by then. HAHAHA

For all who are receiving these calls I would like to suggest what I did in order to stop the calls. I googled Marketlink inc and called the 800 number they had available. When the lady answered I simply told her I had been receiving calls from them and wanted the calls to stop. She forwarded me to a lady named Faith. She asked me for my phone number verified my last name and said she would remove me from all of their lists.. So far no more calls from them....Good Luck! The number I called was 1-800-434-3221

These calls are outrageously annoying.  three to five times in the evening and early morning.  I may try the 800 number to see whether they can take me off the list, but I'm nervous even to try this.  What if it's another scam.  Has the world gone completely nuts??

Keep getting calls from 515-309-2041.  I always ignore numbers I don't recognize.  They never leave a message but call at all sorts of times.  googled this number and saw all the entries above.  Must be a telemarketer of some sort.

I get at least two sometimes more calls a day. I am so tired of going to the phone to answer only to see the ID is  515-309-2041. I do not want to continue with this calling. What can I do to stop it?

I went to yankee candle and they asked me for my phone number and then I started to get calls from this phone number. Every time I go to the mall stores ask for my number and never give it to them. But this time I did. I will never give my number again. They call every day.

(with the computer generated sounds at the beginning that tell their computer to drop this number.)

started getting phone calls from this number a few days ago. Now they call at least once a day. What do I do? Any comments. I cant call block them since it is my cell phone, they are irritating. I called the phone # on my caller Id to stop calls got answering machine. called 1-800-434-3221 as suggested by someone and got another answering machine.  Thanks T

When they call I just set the phone down. Not sure how long I tie their line up; but the longer, the better.

Email her and advise that you will be filing compliants, going to the media etc to get the harrassing calls made public and let your local news station (TV) do a report on the scamming being done by them.

Received 3 calls within 24 hours from MARKETLINK INC  515-309-2041.     I explained after the first call that I wasn't interested.    They have called twice since then.

Received 4 calls so far, on this last one they Left a voice mail claiming to be cox cable and wanted to see how my service was, something shady is going on here, I would love to call these people at their homes when they are eating dinner.

After going through all the posts here I see that Marketlink have been very busy making our lives miserable.I, too, have been getting deluged with calls from Marketlink. My number is silent (not listed in the phone book and not given out by 'Information') and is listed with both my State and the Fed Do Not Call lists. I do not have an answering machine, but do have Caller ID. I normally do not pick up unless I _know_ who is calling. But this 'company' has been such a PITA (*P*-ain.....*I*-n.....*T*-he.....*A*-zz), that I finally relented. I only have a corded phone so it takes me a bit of time to get to it to answer it and I [now] make DOUBLE sure I check the Caller ID before I pick up. By the time I do pick up 3 -5 rings have rung and I get hung up on.

All this started February 25, 2010 when another 'company', Seniors Health (their phone # is 213-710-8139), called trying to Vish me. The foreigner on the other end knew my name and asked if I was that person. When I said "yes" she started asking me for all kinds of personal info. I told her she was Vishing me, which is very illegal, and that I was going to report her and her company. I haven't heard anything from Seniors Health since, but have from this Marketlink (every day), some entity that shows up on Caller ID as "Out of Area 580-916-0741"(every few days), and another entity that shows up on Caller ID as "Unknown 0 --- --- ----" (I think this one has finally given up.....I HOPE!).

When I do decide to pick up as in the case of Marketlink, if I don't get hung up on, I give the telemarketer on the other end my "Do NOT Call This Number Again!!!!" speech notifying them that my number is in deed listed with both Registries and that I'm reporting them to said Registries. Then I follow through.

This started calling early every day dead air.  At home with husband that is terminally ill.  Disturbs him when he is finally getting some much needed sleep. I really need to get them to stop. Don,t want to unplug phone as family members would like to call to check now and then and would get worried if they could not get through.  This 515-39=09-2041. is horrible.

I have been getting calls from this Marketlink number for about 2 or 3 weeks if I don't answer they never leave a message,and if I answer there isn't anybody there no one ever talks.I am pretty fed up with this what can be done to stop the calls?

Keeps calling, more then once a day. Called back, went through spiel to get my number put ontheir do not call list, hope to god it works.

I finally caved and called Marketlink and they claim to be a 3rd party telemarketing service calling on behalf of Cox, Comcast and Time Warner. If you're a customer of any of these companies then a complaint to the National No Call Registry would be a waste of time since you have a business relationship with them. The woman I spoke with also said she would remove me from their list. She explained that they started using a new call service about 2 months ago and there's hundreds of complaints from people getting calls with just "dead air" since they changed services and are aware of the problem. So, I went even further and called Time Warner and told them about the unending calls from Marketlink at all times of the day with nobody on the other line and if they're paying Marketlink for their telemarketing then they're wasting their money since there's never anyone on the other line. I also added that being a customer of Time Warner for many years that I didn't appreciate having so much of my time wasted with these phone calls. The man I spoke with seemed to be very interested in my problem and wrote everything down including the phone number for Marketlink that "Stand Up For Our Rights" provided (thank you) 800-434-3221. My suggestion would be for everyone getting calls from Marketlink is to call their cable company and complain. If enough people call then maybe they'll smarten up and drop Marketlink as their telemarketing service. Marketlink has been aware of this issue for 2 months and hasn't done anything about it so in my opinion anything we can do collectively to stop companies like this would be great!
