I have been getting calls from this company non-stop for about a month. They are asking for some guy that I have never heard of before.  I have thought of calling back and telling them to stop calling, but maybe it is best that I just dont answer.  It is always unknown or 516-390-6500.  It seems everyone wants them to stop calling.

I have had Tritium Card Services call my house, looking for my daiughter. Every call: does she have a spouse, or work number. The answer has always been the same from me, but they don't seem able to put it in the computer that she is not married, and can NOT recieve phone calls at work, but they still call. I have told them to snail mail the info, and to stop calling me and harrassing me, but they keep calling.

I received a call from this number the person on the other end was looking for me by my maiden name that I had not used in years. She stated that they were looking to resolve a financial matter....funny, I have nothing open from my maiden name.

they called my cell phone several times today and my dad called from the land line twice and they hungup. then i called from my cell phone and they answered saying this is a switchboard something service and i said why are you calling my phone so much? they said what is your telephone number? I said well you have it since you call it so much. i said STOP calling my phone and hung up. i find it really weird they wont give out who they are or anything.

yeah i bet you are from there so shutup and they wont help you if they wont even reveal who they are. you're just stupid for giving them your personal information. dont post stuff on here if you dont have a problem with this stupid company anyway.

You guys are all [***]. The company first of all is TRITIUM CARD SERVICES. yes they do handle accounts for different clients. I don't know if any of you have heard of the FDCPA... But its a list of laws that collection agencies have to follow. A collection agency cannot give you information about anyone other than your self. so yes if you call an agency and want to know why they called you family member they can't tell you that personal information, nor is it really your business either. as far as how often they can call. the FDCPA allows collectors to call all day long if there is no answer and anytime between 8am and 9 pm. so if your home your best bet is to just answer and cooperate. the calls are on an automatic dialer and they will just call all day long. this company is not a scam, but a reputable company hired by the companies you all decide to enter into a contract with. so cancel your accounts if you don't want to deal with them.

I've received calls from strange numbers before, but after this one called me I decided to search the number on Google. When they called I didn't answer. I decided to search the number and this site was the first to come up on the search results. I don't know why these numbers call me, but I want them to stop!!

The law also states that if a collection agengy calls a wrong number and the person they call informs them that it is a wrong number and to not call the number again that the collection agency MUST remove the number from the account. Don't tell people to just get over harrassing phone calls that they should not be receiving in the first place. People move and numbers get recycled all the time. Companies need to take the time and listen to the person they called. As far as ANY company calling and asking for your SSN, they should already have that information on file if they really need it. No one should give that information to any company or individual whom they did not personally initiate the call with. There are other ways to verify a persons identity without asking for a ssn. The company may find people more apt to cooperate if they don't ask for that highly delicate piece of information, DUH!!!

Rec'd call from them just now.  She ids herself as calling from Barclays bank.  When I asked who Tritium Card Services were she hung up.  Call came from 516-390-6500.

So I call the number on the caller ID and the recording says "Tritium Card Services After Hours".

I just called this number since they called me and hung up.

I got a switchboard lade who said she could tell me who called if I gave her my number, which I declined to do - natch.

I then called back and got the same lady, so it must be smaller place.  I told her why I was calling again and that I didn't think I deserved to be hung up on.  She agreed and said that there are more than 20 companies that use their routing call service, so she really could not say which company called me.

She said mostly they are banks, such as Bank of America, etc.  I have a BoA card, but am total set with them.  I just check my account to be sure and it's fine - zero balance in fact.  So I think it was a sales call and not collections.  For me at least.

Machine said to hold on for important information. I waited a second and then hung up.

TRITIUM CARD SERVICES should be fined or shut down immediately!!!

This is from the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act) Enactment: Public Law 95-109 (Sept. 20, 1977) - This company is in violation of at least 2 sections of the above Federal Law.

Point # 5 & 6 of Section 806: Harassment or abuse
A debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person in connection with the collection of a debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:

(5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.
(6) Except as provided in section 804, the placement of telephone calls without meaningful disclosure of the caller’s identity. - Always has came up as "unavaliable or private"

As well as Section # 6 of Section 808: Unfair practices

A debt collector may not use unfair or unconscionable means to collect or attempt to collect any debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:
(6) Taking or threatening to take any nonjudicial action to effect dispossession or disablement of property if—
(A) there is no present right to possession of the property claimed as collateral through an enforceable security interest;

Repeatedly calling a number???? I wake up at 8:00am and already have 4 or 5 missed calls from an "unavaliable" number. Today I actually answered the call and was calmly speaking with a representative, when I was placed on hold and was then talking to a "supervisor" who was rude and then threatened to take my house...all over a $1100 debt that I have been unable to pay due to being unemployed. And then hung up on me.

I have already filed a "report" with the company as well I am filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

first of all they're not even allowed to call after 9pm on weekdays and they dont call after 6pm on weekends so you're lying!

Tritium Card Services is an agency that handles and works for many different client such as Barclays, B of A etc... You guys never heard of anything like this before ? Maybe if you paid your bills and stopped being a dead beat they wouldnt call you. You guys also didnt have a problem giving out your social on the application when you wanted the money from them but now you have a problem verifying the last four of your social now that they want their money back lol hilarious ! get a life and a job too to pay that bill losers !

866-752-3135 ext 5225 - said they are SIA Card Services.  Calling my eldering mother, asking for her granddaughter who has never lived with my mother or at the phone number provided.  I've told her to not answer any phone number that comes up as UNKNOWN in future.
