Received call from 561-793-8708. We are on the do not call list.

received a call on 3/11 from 561-793-8708, they didn't leave a message. I am alos on the do not call list

I too have received these annoying calls, abut 6 a week. Heres what I did.
I went to wal-mart and purchased a air horn, you can get them in the fishing/sporting section. the next time they called I waited until i got a live person on the line. They requested for my credit card information for account varification, I told them to hold on while I got my credit card. I waited about 10 seconds held the air horn to the phone and let it rip. THE CALLS HAVE ALMOST STOPPED. Telemarketers use headsets, an air horn or whistle realy hurts. They will stop, I have plenty of air.

Same people as 407-207-0820 & 207-419-7983.  They call to offer:  Warranty for Auto's (Heather on pre-recorded message) or for Credit Cards lower interest offer or for Insurance for your auto.  Verizon security tells me the reason the number responds as "disconnected" or "no longer in service" is that they just don't accept in bound phone calls.  But the number should be a number that the federal trade commission can track back to the telemarketer.  They recommend that since we are on the DNC list to contact FTC at 877-382-4357 to report the illegal marketing.

We are getting calls from this number, as well. It shows up on our caller ID. We've not been home to answer. As we are on the federal DNC list, what can we do? Is there some place we can file a complaint?

claims to be from "Account Services" stating that I'm about to "lose my eligability to get my credit card interest rate lowered. I pressed 1 to talk to her and when I told her I was on the do not call list and was going to file a complaint, she got beligerent and hung up.  She called once from 561-793-8708 in west palm beach FL and 2 days later left a msg on my machine from 407-207-0820.  I tried to call back but got a "number's been disconnected" msg.

I received this call on Mar 11 08 at 1:25pm.  I did not answer it because I didn't know the number.  I am also on the DNC list as everyone else. What is up with this? This was on my cell phone not my home.

Received a call from this number, didn't recognize it so let the answering machine pick up.  The caller hung up.  We are on the No Call List.

These are the same guys as (305) 654-1842.  These guys, whether posing as credit card or warrantee extenders are just scam artists trying to get your personal information (like credit card number, mother's maiden name etc.) [as a side note, as the economy gets worse, the amount of scams increase].  The caller ID number they are using is a fake as they are using caller ID spoofing.  This can be done by using a company called Spoofcard.com or use an Internet phone and inputting any phone number you want to show up on your caller ID.  If they use Spoofcard.com, then your DA's office (if they want to take the case) can find them and prosecute, but it is much more difficult to track an Internet phone.  A Bill is circulating in the US Senate which will make Caller ID spoofing illegal.  Here's what you do.... do not give the caller any info about you, but attempt to get info from them about who they are and where they are.  Next contact your Senators and ask that they support the Bill.  Lastly, file a Complaint with your local DA's Office.

I did not answer the call, and no one left a message, the info reported in these emails, should be reported to the fcc.

Never press either button, its a trick. If you want to be left alone with it all just hang up the phone call.

Just received a call from +561-482-7092. I could not answer because I was involved with a very important phone call at the time. I scrolled to the number and pushed to dial and it said "Your international call cannot be made at this time..." International??? Anyways, not understanding the whole plus sign thing, I tried to dial with a 1 this time. Then it said the number had been disconnected. Who would I report this to? OR would I report it at all?
