Several call from this number.  I am on the DNC list which seems to be ineffective which I would say is par for the course if the government is involved with it.  I don't answer number i don't know or aren't ID'd.

I got the same call on my cell phone at 9:33 am pacific time on 03/11/2008 and did not answer. I didn't answer and didn't try to call back because I know I don't know anyone at that area code. I'm pretty sure they tried to call me before but I don't answer if I don't recognise the number. Glad I didn't

561 793-8708 The caller didn't leave a message.  I am also on the DNC list. So, I googled the number and found this information. Upsetting to know that even though we try not to be bothered by solicitation it keeps happening.

I have got calls from the same number .I also have my numbers on the DNC list . What I suggest is report this number to them constantly .Make the DNC List people do there job.

Got the same call, 561-793-8708 from W Palm Beac, FL on 3/11/08 at 12:43pm EST. Didn't answer because I didn't know the number. Now I'll be sure not to answer.

I didnt answer the call, but when it came across the caller i.d., the number was  +5617938708. I have never seen a number on caller i.d. like this with a plus sign in front of it. The answering machine picked up and they hung up

Received call from this number with an automated voice response unit indicating my warranty was about to expire, and press "1" to extend coverage.

Since this is bogus, I pressed 1.

The human who answered asked me for my make and model, and I responded by asking for his company name.  He immediately hang up.

I am also on DNC registry and get calls from these people at least once a week. The problem is that they are obviously some kind of scam operation, not real telemarketers, so reporting them to DNC isn't going to do much. They are somehow managing to spoof a disconnected phone number so even if you report to DNC, you're not reporting their *real* number, so who is the govt going to enforce the rules against? Somehow we (the people they keep calling) need to get them to reveal real information about themselves so that we can report them to the police, FBI, whoever.

I received a call this morning and in tying to call back them back the number is disconnected (no surprise here).  This appears to be a typical fraud scam to get personal information from you and nothing more(this explains the DNC list being ignored).  It is likely they set up the number for a short period of time gathered what they could, shut the phone off and moved on.  It is best to report this number to the proper authorities however often these folks are good at leaving little information linking the phone number to them.

Call came to cell phone with recorded message to reduce my credit card rate. "Jay" came on the line and asked if I had credit card balances of at least $4000. I told him, "not quite", and he said he was going to forward me to someone that would take some information to get my rates reduced. I asked what company he was calling from and he said "United Debt Aid" then rattled off something about being affiliated with a credit counseling attorney's office. I abruptly told him I wasn't interested and wasn't in need of assistance. He got irritated and belligerent and I hung up.

Recieved a call from this # @ 12:55 PM on 3/11/08.   Sent to voicemail, they did not leave a message.  I am also on the DO NOT CALL list.  This is the way the # showed on my  phone     +5617938708    what's with the + sign??

I received a recorded call regarding warranty on a vehicle.

I got a call from this number about 20 minutes ago.  I recommend that all people document when they get these calls as each violation is a $500-$1000 fine.

Have received a few calls from this number.  Always disconnects when I answer.  I am on the DNC list.  Very annoying.  the number has a + sign before it, what is up with that?  I received a few calls from another  number that also has the +.

Yes, I got this call around 1pm on 3/11/08.  Not only am I on the DNC list, but I don't even have a car.  I am reporting to the DNC

Got the call, talked to a moron who told me that he needed the number of just one card that wasn't late or over limit and he would call the 800 number on that card to verify that it was my account while i waited on hold and then pass me along to another agent who would give me more information.
I asked for more info before i gave him the number and he got a supervisor who i asked about the company name, he lied, the location, he lied and when i asked for a number i could call him back on he hung up!
I guess these guys are too smart for me.
Anyway, DON'T GIVE ANYONE YOU HAVEN'T CALLED YOURSELF YOUR NUMBER!!!
THEY WILL TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!

I am on DNC list also. I received a call from this number at 12:27 pm in Denver. I did not answer the call since I did not reconize the number.

Same as others... "Account Services".

I get an Account Services call every 2 days minimum.  I've been hung up on EVERY time.  Is there something in the works to stop these people, or do we "numbers in the system" have to just take it day in and day out?
