called my cell and i told them they had the wrong # and they were very nice and said they were sorry .

They called me and I answered and said sperm bank how may I help you? They hung up. Saying that usually works and I get my kicks and giggles out of it as well.

report them to ftc,bbb,they have your info, don't confirmed anything, tell they validated the debt, mailed to me, hang up/scammers...

When I answered the man wanted my birthday and where I live. Asked for what and he said it was to  verify and I told him ok for what company and why he was calling but again he asked for my birthday and my address. Told him again for what company and why. He said for karma credit and when I didn't give him my info he hanged up.

This number called my cellphone. I answered and a man asked to speak to Oscar Jr. I asked for a last name. He said Jr. I asked again for a last name and he said he can only speak to Oscar Jr about this personal matter. I told him my name was Oscar and I am a Jr but if you can tell me what my last name is then you have no personal business with me. He said sorry and hung up.

I just received a call. A man with a foreign accent answered, he asked to speak to Samantha O..... I said that was me. He then told me to hold. I was on hold for about a minute and during that hold he probably picked up twice and put me back on hold. Then a lady picked up and asked for me again And she was calling regarding a personal matter. I told ok what's the matter, she then stated I needed to verify my 4 last digits of my soca for her to be able to say anything. I asked where she was calling from and what was the personal matter about. She then again said I needed to verify my last 4 digits of my social inorder for her to tell me anything. I again asked what the call was about. She then said if I was not going to verify my last 4 digits and I said NO, she just said ok and hung up.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This number calls me all day, i answered the firs time and they hung up. I called back and they hung up again but continue to call. 1 week into this i called from a different number to ask what company it is. I was told they need my full name and address to tell me who they work for??  Blocked the number.

Just got the same call from a bill collector in Scranton, PA..  I'm in Houston TX..  But I only responded because someone chose the bad ace handle, HEISLEGEND!!!   Only the best rock band on the planet!!  I'm in the Attack of The Dungeon Witch video at 1:57, reading the newspaper!

keep getting calls from this number, told them I don't owe anyone, I am retired, and wont give out any information on phone. he said would mail me information, I said how you don't have my address, he gave me some dum address, not mine told him to call his mother at home and use her address, she could help him with his problem. these companys need to get a life.

I have a new cell phone and they keep calling me. They won't leave a message and I don't know who they are so I don't answer. Thought it may be a scam or for someone who owned the number before me. Guess I'll block.

Seems like this is Commonwealth. More bottom feeders. One of these places that is 5th in line buying old, long satisfied debt, because it's shown up on some old database they bought.

this is a no good debt collection agency. they are in need of money since they bought old accounts. he asked for the person, I told him person was dead. died in car crash. he said needed proof. told him I would take a picture of head stone. he said he needed more proof. he wanted SS numbers and date of birth. told him to call 1600 Pennsylvania Ave they can help him. also told him I was reporting this to consumer reports with local news so that can call and record him. he said that is against the law I said so what prove it. he hung up. if he calls again I am going answer with a air horn that will fixe him. these people need to read the news about debt collectors in the paper. paper said these people are all trash and bull [***].
