I've gotten a call from this number yesterday and today.  No message left.

Also called right after another suspicious call from IOWA (563-209-9353).

Caller ID says: MARITZ RESEARCH.
They never leave a message. Another user on this site says they are a company that follows up on complaints about other companies. I have not filed any complaints about any company. Another user says they called him to ask about a recent visit to Bank of America. This may be the reason they are calling me. I use to bank with Bank of America. They may be calling to follow up on why I closed my account or how my last visit to the bank went.

Thankyou for that information, I'm going out to buy that phone.

I'd be willing to talk to them if they'd allow themselves to be identified on my readout.

After reading a number of messages posted here, it appears this may be a call on behalf of Bank of America. I just transferred all my money out of one of their Money Market funds because they lowered the interest rate from 1.6% to 0.15%. I suspect they may be calling to ask some questions about my satisfaction, or lack there of, with BofA.

bizarre i just got a call from them myself.  i am taking the phone off the hook usually leave it off if they need me asap they would have my cell phone.   thanks so much for the info

just looked up the 571 area code it is out of arlington county virginia.  so the canada line they fed one of you is total BS

Someone is calling from this number and harassing us with market ting gimmicks.

Below is the name of the company I was able to locate. Maritz Research 1375 North Highway Drive fenton missouri, 63099. There telephone number as March 2010 was 636-827-4000. There Canadian office is Merit Canada 6900 meritz drive missaufga ont l5w-1l8  From what I have been able to gather they make money by wasting innocent peoples time.

They call our house about 5 times a day and I want it to stop immediately!!!

I rec'd a call from them today. I wasn't home, someone else took the message. They said they were from Bank of America and they mispronounced my name.

Have been getting two calls per day - never anyessage. Glad to know this is probably a scam. Will try to block this number.

I have recently been the victim of identity theft. This phone number keeps calling and pretending they are financial services (Am Ex, Visa, Bank of America) and they troll for info. BEWARE!!!!!!!

They called tonight. No message. I looked them up, found this thread and added them to a profile on my phone that has a silent ring tone. I created the profile specifically for this type of annoying, intrusive company. They can call all they want now...   :D
