It's not the hospital itself calling, you idiot. It's a legitimate survey company that various health care organizations contract with to survey their customers to see how happy they are with the care they've received.

I didn't answer their call because I don't know anyone named Press Ganey.  I did recently (November) have surgery, but I don't want to be interrupted by them for a survey.  That's what mail is for.

We've received a couple surveys in the mail about our dr.  We did not participate in the survey.  Got this phone call today.  Have no idea if it's connected to those mailed surveys or not.  Did not answer the phone.  If we didn't feel like filling out the optional survey form, then we certainly don't want to be called about it.

I just got a call from the today (1/22/16) and haven't been in hospital for years.

I also received a call from them and informed them that I have not been in the hospital for years, now they call my house 5-8 times a day even after I asked them not to call. Spam!!

this company calls everyday and never leaves a message.  I do not answer any phone call I do not recognize.   I have not been in the Hospital for over 20 years.  I have not been to the ER in just about the same amount of years.  I am not on dialysis.  So what do you think they want from me.  If it's so important, send me a letter.

Some one called said was doing survey and not true memeral never call late night or from out state they send papers he ask my name I told she was not here didn 'tknow  when she be back

Called my cell this morning. I didn't answer. Left no message. I haven't been in a hospital in twenty years, so they have no reason to call me. Blocked the number.

This number called MY phone asking to speak to someone I know, I proceeded to tell them this is NOT their number and asked how they got it. The woman avoided my question and proceeded to ask me personal information about the person they were calling about. I told her, if they truly had a hospital stay recently they should have that persons ontact information. Then she said, if you have number then why dont you just give it to us. I told her, I am not giving out anyones information and that the call was over. I asked her for a call back number or contact and she said she doesnt have one. And still acted as if where she was calling from was a secret.

It's Press Ganey. As another person said I recently had a surgery and stubbled upon this. I searched more and that's the business. They do it for doctors and dentist offices too. I know this bc I would always get a call after a recent dentist appointment

Called 2/17/16 7:05pm CST.  No msg left.  Monday (today's Wednesday), I had a doctor visit and some outpatient procedures done.  I got an online survey link from Press Ganey, which I did fill out.  No idea why they'd need to follow up, so I didn't answer.

I got this call and have not been in a hospital for decades...so why would anyone actually pick this up and start giving away your personal medical information over the phone to an outside party.

I've had "medical" calls from a similar number.  Scammers.  Now they use a different number.

True. My husband spent 3 days in the hospital. They started calling me to get to him.

I've had several follow up calls from my hospital following a stay and from an outside survey company. They don't get better if they don't ask some questions and care, food, comfort and such. Just wish their name was on the caller ID. I don't answer unidentified numbers.

they called several times .. wasting my time

Had a baby two weeks ago, been getting calls from this company every couple of days since I left the hospital. Haven't answered the phone at all but judging by the other comments I'm assuming they are calling to do a survey. Super annoying.

I too went to the ER a couple weeks ago.
Recieved phone call @11:15am from this # in "South Bend, IN" who left no message. Judging from others comments, this seems to be a repeat pattern of either abuse and / or incompetence.
