dont ever answer anyone you dont recognize the ID for..  in this case it's a survey for peole who recently visited a hospital, I was an inpatient for 4 days 5 weeks ago and got this call...  I didn't know if it was legit so I didn't answer questions and just hung up
dont ever answer a call unless you know the ID, if it's important they will leave voicemail or send a letter

Not every marketing call is OUT TO GET US! This company is called Press Ganey & Associates and do follow ups for mailed out surveys that are not returned - I also failed to respond to the dialysis survey they mailed me - the good news to all is that I AM NOT A LIAR - thank you

Neither myself nor my wife have been in a hospital in the past 18 months. Only to our long time family doctor. Any idea why we would be contacted for a health or services survey?

Just got a call from this #. Called ID only said Indiana. No hospital stay for me so I have no idea why I would be getting a call for a supposed health survey.

Not true; medical institutions are required to monitor outcomes and report such.  Some (no idea how many) contract for that information.

just received a call from this number. Caller ID reads: Press Ganey. I did not answer and the caller left no message. I have not been in the hospital but have a close relative that was in the hospital and returned home on Monday of this week. I never answer calls from unknown callers. I consider it an invasion of privacy for any type of solicitation or survey without my consent. I advise anyone to not answer calls from unknown sources. If the call is important and/or legitimate, the caller should leave a message.

I have received multiple calls from this number - they always hang up before it goes to voicemail.  This has gone on for several months.  I did answer once several months ago and they wanted to do a survey for a hospital visit I never had.  I asked to be taken off their call list.  They keep calling.

It IS a medical survey. It's a company that medical facilities hire to do surveys for them. It is legit. The hospital told me they would call and this is them. My daughter was admitted for double pneumonia. If you weren't in the hospital- well they must have the wrong number! How rude to call someone a liar like that.

I am sorry but I am not going to discuss with a third party survey my private info about a hospital stay. If the hospital wants to know I will tell them and them alone. And my stay was horrible!

I had three surgeries and am now getting calls.

I am not sure who they are, they're always asking for my fiance who just got out of the hospital. He's through enough problems, surveys are bad enough

i was in the hospital for surgery and stayed  10 days. this bunch has called twice and today they called at 355 pm. i don't wish to talk to these people and , they were told not to call back. we will see !

If they are so "legit" why would they ring once and hang up!? Whether one was hospitalized or not, any legitimate caller doesn't pull that .

It's a Press Ganey survey for people ther have recently been to the hospital or in my case an ER visit.

I just received a call and it was related to an MRI I had done at a location that specializes in scans...not a hospital so it doesn't always have to be hospitals.

They didn't want any personal information...it's similar to other surveys I've received on medical treatment.  It was strictly related to my visit and how satisfied I was.  They told me the facility name which is how I knew which visit it was, but they didn't ask or seem to care what I had done there.  It was non-invasive and quick.

My mother has cancer and dementia, they called to do a 'follow up' on a surgery and wanted to speak to her.  Well, she doesn't even know her own name, so I said "no, you may not speak to her since she can't communicated outside of yes or no, she has dementia and doesn't know her own name."  I said, "i'm her caregiver, can I help you?" he said "yes, give her your care" and hung up.
