- namni-bor| 1 replyNEVER even wait and hit as in this case, "9" to be removed...these scam artists actually at times use that as evidence that you are authorizing a charge to your phone bill...ATT said it's called SLAMMING!!! I had this already on my call block list and I was cleaning and phone did not even ring but caller ID shows they attempted to call...kinda cool but unfortunately, ATT only allows 10 blocked calls at a time so as a new one arises, I take the one off top of list off and add new one. Funny, I moved here 14 months ago with brand new private, unlisted, DNCL number, yet these scum are still able to use our numbers and I tell insurance, the VA, everyone to NOT sell my number nor email. My prior residence, I had made the mistake with a few of these calls hitting the number stated by message to delete...then I started getting all these just less than $30. fees tacked on phone bill for either ring tones or some long distance plan...already have long distance and other thaqn an emergency cell that's ONLY for the car that NOBODY, not even my mother, has THAT number so no need for ring tones either. This SLAMMING was taken off my ATT bill, HOWEVER, in order to get ATT or ANY phone co. to not allow SLAMMING on your bill, you have to do as I did and get a special ANTI-SLAMMING FORM MAILED, no less, to you, then with ATT's case, MAIL it to FLORIDA! Inquirey via a U.S. Senator that has been instrumental in getting my owed pension from military in my State told me that this was another little "GIFT" from G.W. BUSH of a deregulatory thing THAT ALLOWS THESE CO's to SLAM your bills through a LOOPHOLE because the whole deregulatory thing was the BIG BELL Co's complaining that the major cellualr co's had an upperhand in ringtones and iTunes downloadability...and through that piece of garbage, we get people no less from Nigeria and the like, preying upon USA!!! A truth and thought I'd share this gift from G.W. that keeps giving and we keep bending over!!!

- Namni-borAlthough I use caller ID, rather than a blow horn, decided to have some juvinile fun with them when they do call if I am around and purchased a $6.95 digital fart machine and have it sitting on top of frig with the digital phone/answering machine. A flick of a switch and a press of the remote and BLAAAAAAT!!! Even if it's only the satisfaction in a chuckle, I feel I should be compensated for their intrusion to my castle!

- Seattle dogThis number called posing as a Survey. After 3 stupid questions the survey voice stated that I I had "won" a free cruise to the Bahamas. "All" I had to do to claim the "prize" was press one to be connected to someone to pay the "port tax" for the free cruise. WHAT A SCAM!
- MeThieving scumbags after your CC numbers.
- Sugar Land| 1 replyI hit 1 to speak to someone and tell them not to call back. I then hung up thinking this might be a scam, probably too late not to be charged! These [***] and their con game will get Gods justice!
- Sugar Land replies to Sugar LandI forgot to mention this is the 602 926-7354 number offering a Bahama two day cruise for answering the 30 second survey regarding the debt crisis. Evil is running amok in American, where is the judicial system.
- PeteredMy call block service I'm only allowed 12 numbers blockage as I've received this one before.
Machine controlled survey, hence a short silence to wake up an agent when they found a live person, as this is not a solicitation haha.
So since I know how to tell off the best of the idiots, decided to play along and listen.
Machine asked 3 questions concerning the debt economy, is the repo, demo or Obama was easy.
Then click 1 to speak to an agent for a free trip, he couldn't speak enough English to play with him for long on his nickel.
Sad to say they keep trying to find an idiot. - Sue JonesI keep getting calls from this number almost daily, It wants me to do a short survey to win a cruise, you only have to pays port taxes and such. it is a scam> i am on fedreal and state DO NOT CALL lists. What can I do to stop this?

- Georgia Peach replies to namni-borI got a call from this number, but didn't leave a message. I don't answer unless I know who is calling me. Yes, another wonderful gift from "W" Bush. Just like a lot of wonderful gifts he left us with, a trashed economy, an endless war that has cost us billions and seems to have no end, and giving tax breaks to the rich, especially his oil baron buddies. Thanks W. Oh, and I bought a Panasonic cordless phone and you can block numbers on it. It has been wonderful, easy to use, and reasonably priced [Newegg.com was best price]. I've blocked a bunch of numbers that keep calling me over and over again. I'm trying to run a business out of my home, and thanks again to W and the other politicians, business lines are exempt from the Do Not Call List. I contacted my senators in Georgia, Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isaakson, about business listings being exempt -- what a total waste of time. They fed me more politician crap about "they might be offering services that I would want." Really? I want a scam? I'll remember this idiotic response next time I vote. Yeah, I want to buy swamp land in Florida.
- Susan GalbraithI received a phone call from this company on my cell phone. It rang once and then stopped before I had a chance to answer, indicating an auto-dialer.
I profoundly resent having my cell minutes used up by unwanted phone calls. Please transmit my complaint regarding this company.- Caller: unknown
