I've got a call from this unknown number saying they will find me. This is known as a threat

Get calls random times on random days, very annoying. Have not tried answering calls yet.

Everyday and they always hang up - what happen to blocking cell lines - making it illegal to call cell lines !!!!

It's A Collection Agency

They claim to be a debt collecting company. They asked for someone I've never heard of. It's probably just a scammer.

Called and when answered line is ringing.  I hung up - I hate companies that think their time is more valuable than mine!  If you call me, someone better be there when I say hello.

Called my cellular phone while I was working, my supervisor does not allow me to chat during the work. so, they didn't leave any message.

Called my cellular phone and had no idea where they get my number. Left no message. So much for wasting times.

Hung up right before answering machine. I owe a ton for medical bills so it could be related to that. Pretty sure my scumbag health insurance company has a hand in this.

This number keeps calling me

I pick up and it doesn't even say anything. Just sits in silence

its an auto dialer robot to make sure that the phone number is good and active.   Sneaky way to make sure you aren't avoiding their calls, as in court they can show that you are avoiding the debt.

There are apps to block calls. Some free... some only cost $1.00.
The ones that cost a $1.00 have unlimited blocking.
The free ones limit how many calls you can block.
It was worth a dollar for me. I have 26 blocked numbers.

This is them. They have called over and over and never left messages or even talked when I picked up. Today, I planned to block them but they actually spoke after a lengthy pause. https://www.ccsusa.com/contact.html  They are a bill collector.

Received a call from this number and when I answer, they caller just hangs up. Pisses me off! I call the number back and it was a recording about collecting a debt. I don't owe anyone, so this is definitely a damn scam.

It is a debt collector. They are trying to collect a debt and it is a legit company. They will tell you who you owe and what is going into collection. It would behoove you to call them back and see what they tell you.
