A man with a thick Indian or Pakistani accent attempted to get my social security number. I blocked the number.

Some people said this number is from the Nielsen TV ratings company. Not true. It's someone trying to get personal financial data.

Called 7-24-17 at 8:03 p.m. and were blocked by our call blocker system. Then called back right away again a minute later. CID showed 1-608-371-6666. No message was left. Lousy criminals!!!

9th call from this number at 7:53 pm and 10th call at 8:10 pm last night.

Called many times over the last couple weeks.  Damn jackholes!!

This was a legitimate call from American Express about an issue I was having.  The number is a number that can bypass most call blockers apparently??.  I guess it is a 50/50 chance for answering it, thank God the representative left a message with number to call.

It was not a telemarketer, so I really did not know what to choose for call type.

On a side note also called on one of the famous (336) area code numbers on my cell.

Came through just after another call was blocked by nomorobo.  Janesville WI.  I may direct block this number.  See how that works.

Many calls today in 4 minutes from various numbers; One from 866-343-6666 (nomorobo got that one), then a call within a minute from 608-371-6666 that was not caught by Nomorobo and rang til my voice mail kicked in (of course they left no message). I got one from 818-865-9082 3 minutes after that caught be nomorobo. Going to post this on all three pages for these numbers.

Got 2 calls from this number. He told me that he was calling everyone on my street. Trying to sell me on repairs. Said I did not have money, and do not need any then he went on and on. I hung up. Just received a call right now same number at 645PM Ca time. I zapped the call. I live in CA so why would someone come here from I believe the area code is Wisconsin. What a bunch of BS.

I also have nomorobo via TW and it is a godsend....however today this number rang once and was caught....only one ring...then nothing....but it rang back almost immediately and rang maybe four times....I will block  608 371 6666 and hope it helps....I have had that moron years ago claiming to be from Microsoft.....with the accent.....I might add if you let the call go long he curses you out.....

Got a call this morning. As previous post said it rang once then rang again and I was asleep so without thinking I answered the call.The caller was a woman asking for my daughter who doesn't live in my home. I asked who they were and they said Jackson and Wyatt and would call back. i tried to look them up and found no results.

Yep, called (perhaps from their real number) and got blocked by my call block service.  Second call was too fast to be "dialing through" the service, so their system must be set up to recognize the interception and immediately fire off a call with this spoofed number.  No message was left.  Blocked this number, too.

Still, the two calls and reaching over to click "block caller" disturbed me at work.  I hope that gets them an extra hug from their oh-so-proud mommy.

This number is actually from NoMoRo## call blocker, patching through a call which was initially intercepted by NMR, but a live person (likely more telescum) was able to enter the correct code to bypass NMR, and transfer the call back.
Phone rang at 11:00, but was intercepted by NMR after two rings,  then at 11:01 phone rings again, but this time from 608-371-6666 via NMR patching through the live caller that originally called at 11:00.

This number is actually from your call block service (NMR), patching through the original call that was intercepted 30 seconds before.  Most likely was  LIVE telescum, who was able to enter the requested verification code, allowing them to to effectively bypass NMR, resulting in NMR patching the call back to you.

In my case, phone rings at 11:00 with Telescums spoofed number and is intercepted by NMR,  then at 11:01, phone rings again, this time with a Wisconsin area code, later verified to be NMR patching through the live telescum.

It is best to block this number, as telebastards have now figured out that if they give the right code, they can get thru. Virtually everyone that did this during the first year I had NMR was a telebastard, not one legitimate call out of all of them.

Same here.  Got a call from a local number I did not recognize and then seconds later, I get a call coming thru from this number.  I didn't answer either number.
