Any call with this number is a call that passed a CAPTCHA style check from Nomorobo. What you really want to check is the number that called several seconds earlier that Nomorobo cut off as a suspected robocaller.

In short, if it's from this number, all you really know about it is that it has a live person at the other end, and they passed the Nomorobo screen process. My personal process on this is to let it go to voice mail. If they leave a message, I'll get an email transcription almost immediately. If they don't, then it is assumed to be a sales call.

Just now and robo program caught it.  They just won't quit.  This is the 13th call in two months.

Folks, The number that shows up is NoMorRobo.  If you are signed up for it.....It DOES ALLOW live people to enter a passcode number to prove they are live and not a robocall.  If they are a live person and enter the code AT the block robocall center correctly it is SENT BACK to your phone but the ID NUMBER will be the call it was sent back from No more robo calls.  There is no spoofing of the number.  You will get ONE ring, then if the robocall is a live person they enter the code correctly, no more robo calls sends the call back to you with their number NOT the robocallers number.  I don't know why it's so hard to understand.  If you signed up for it you should have read no more robocalls how to use guide.  I get calls and some are live people who enter the right code no more robocalls asks for, if the ensuing number ends in 6666 then that means the LIVE robocaller got through and I ignore the second call, I let it ring and they hang up before the voice mail kicks in.   lol

Thought I had them blocked, left a supposed scary message but I cannot understand it. Please block caller.  First call from another number  (sent to robo call) then this other one call back right away and did not go to robo call.

I first received a call from 610-848-8656 (identified as "Wireless Caller" and was blocked by NoMoRobo).  A few seconds later, I received a call from this number.  I decided to pick up and listen for signs of a human caller :).  I heard background sounds that you'd typically hear when it's a call bank.  I waited a few seconds to see if the caller would say anything.  I decided to say "[bleep] off" and then hung up.  Didn't accomplish anything, but it felt good.  :)

Unkown SOBs just called my landline.  I picked up and hung up.  The scum seems be multiplying in huge numbers lately.  Adding them to my blocklist

We had a message from Chantey. It sounded like a recording.  She talked so fast it was hard to understand what she was saying.

I think it was a debt collecting scam. Blocked the number.

Same experience as others describe... seems to be a Nomorobo number that shows after unrecognized callers have validated in some way that they were not robocalls.  In my case it was a call from Quicken Loans.  The caller ID displayed 608-371-6666 but the caller left a call back number of 313-545-2119 or 866-349-8543.  So I guess my gripe would be with Nomorobo for routing unrecognized calls to a new anonymous number which can't be identified.  I still won't pick up, but it's not a good idea to block this number either since the people who get through have probably verified that they were not robots.

Definitely a call forwarded through Nomorobo, which is why the two calls in a row.  Once the original caller has somehow validated that they are not a robot, they are apparently forwarded via Nomorobo's special line - which makes blocking tricky with these non-robo calls.  Nomorobo blocks only robo calls, not calls that are manned by a live person.  This has been my experience.... hope it helps.

So sick of these calls even with (NMR) service - finally UN-PLUGGED the phone!! Now I can quickly go through the call log at my convenience and delete every scammer listed (unknown name/#) in seconds. If there's a caller I want to talk to, just have to call them back. Such a simple, FREE solution and the silence from NO MORE RINGING PHONE is fantastic!

Said they were with a vacation resort in Florida and wanted to discuss the travel credit I received 18-months ago.
This or another company has used this line for years. I never had a travel credit. I asked to removed. He asked, Don't you want to take a vacation? I told him to remove me from their list and stop calling me.

Just noticed that in my ComCast phone log, this phone number does not show up. Comcast logged this call coming from (253) 649-1269. They tried spoofing the Caller-ID to be a local number.

Called this morning at 8 a.m. Didn't leave a message. Says it's coming from Janesville Wisconsin. If it was important they could leave a message. If they don't I assume it's garbage.

Keep calling saying it's a follow up about pain. How can they call about a follow up if u haven't been to a doctor. Stop calling

Received a call from 608-371-6666 ostensibly identified as Marquis (Who's Who) with young woman asking for a return call for "lifetime achievement award."  Call back number listed was 908-279-0100 with extension (127 I think because this part of message was garbled).  Thought it was a suspicious call and did not respond.

The man said he was from Quicken Loans and I had won a sweepstakes. He knew my name. I told him to stop calling and that he was scamming people. Blocked this number

Rang through my call blocker. Did not answer & went to voicemail with no message left.
First time call from them.

I believe this is a special NMR number; that when unrecognized calls are somehow verified, NMR puts them through on this number.  I have gotten messages from different sales people on this line, leaving call back numbers that are different from the number displayed on caller ID.   For now, I am adding to my phone book as NMR so I will know that it is a "human" calling - but  if only telemarketers continue to come through, I may soon block.
