They left a message saying I had won money from PCH.

They called on Sunday July 1, 2018 at 6pm.   These people have a India accent.  I called HP Support on net, and I played along.  These crooks wanted 310.00 for fixing my computer, that had a bad network.  They use (610) prefix numbers vary.  855 541-4927 also.  There E-mail is welcome@idtecks.net  A CISCO ACCT.   Using common American names like Kennedy, Jones, Johnson...These people are THIEFS.  They need to be caught and put in jail.

When answering mzchine picked up, they hung up.  I checked the number snd it is listed in Wisconsin. I know no one in Wisconsin.

A call back to this number got an interactive recording indicating that I had reached the nomorobo number report line.

Asked me to enter the number I was adding to the database followed by the # sign.

Asked if the call was from a live person, recorded message, other...

I pressed the # sign and it asked if there was anything else I wanted to say about the number. Was prompted to leave a voice recording if that was the case. If not, it asked me to please hang up.

Seems pretty fishy to me. Why did it call in the first place?

All callers with "UNKNOWN NAME" are criminal phone rapists trolling for victims.

Received two calls from this number on 11 July 2018 at approximately 12:39 PM and 12:23 pm  They left a polite, business message saying they were from the Veterans Administration and that my file had been flagged for follow up.  The return number they left was 866-210-1656.  When I called the 866 number, it rang through as if it had been disconnected.  The caller ID did not give an identifying name so I could associate it to the VA.

This is a bad news company.  If you get a call from this number, treat it as if it were one you might get around tax season claiming to be from Internal Revenue, there is a warrant out for your arrest, and the U.S. Marshalls are on their way to arrest you unless you pay them $xxx.xx amount immediately over the phone.  In other words, this seems like it is not only bogus by an illegal scam operation.  Report them immediately to law enforcement.

I had that very similar just now. Number switched. I didn't answer.

Rec'd a call from 608 371 6666 with a caller id of 6083716666 at 9:15am at my store.  They didn't leave a voice message but there were TWO CLICKS like two separate phones hanging up... likely a forwarding system to hide their real phone #.

I get this call several times per day and a lot of V#s.  and unknown.   Uknown called me back to back to back.   I think my first mistake was applying for loans online because I don't have reliable transportation to get to places.   Anyway, does anyone know how to get rid of these calls?   Oh, and a funny for ya'all!   I just moved here in Oct of last year.   You know what the do not call list says my number(which I had to chg because I'm now in Spectrum only territory.  Get a load of that one.   I'd like to know what these people use for brains?   Or are computers magically getting smarter and are just setting out to annoy us as much as they can?   Oh, and my V #a look like this: V71311591800097

The first call received from area code 206–212–0526 which was blocked and then immediately after this number appeared on my caller ID and it rang through.Last time they got through my “blocker it was a Microsoft scam

1.one caller from this number left a message and it was and investment company- left a different call back #
2.next caller from this # left a message -said it was a church admin wanted to talk about something unintelligeble- also with a different call back number

Robocall intercepted a call, then this number came through immediately after.  A pharmacy technician named Stephanie said she was from my insurance plan and that they were conducting a review of my medications.  I just had a review, but agreed to talk to her until the questions became suspicious, as I know they have this information on file.  I thanked her and hung up.  The call back number was 855-795-3148,  I think this number has been spoofed.

Almost identical from the TV scam commercial.  A man with an Indian Accent trying to gain access to my computer.  Said they got an alert that my computer was breached.  Had me run MSCONFIG then told me to look at the Microsoft programs "stopped" .  Then wanted to gain access to my computer to "fix" the issue. SCAM

Supposedly Toyota with a very heavy Indian accent about helping owners (Had my car year and model) work thru an urgent recall when questioned about it, they repeated something like because Toyota OEM and air bag. I said I will call my car dealer about it, you don't speak English very well at all and hung up. Yes, nomorobo had intercepted a call from another number seconds before.

So many complaints and/or angry comments about 608-371-6666 calls.  This number has being around annoying people for several years now.  I blocked area code 608.  No more annoying calls from this area code.

I have just had a similar experience to some of these people.  I have had nomorobo installed on my phone to block spam calls, but they sometimes get through.  I have had about a dozen calls from 888-921-2342 identified as One Main Financial on my phone which is blocked by nomorobo and after one ring I immediately get another call from 608-371-2342 identified only as Janesville Wi.  This is clearly a computer generated phone call which identifies my call block and initiates a counter measure to try to get through my system.  i HAVE NOW BLOCKED THIS NUMBER also using a cheap but effective Amazon device called Procall Blocker which enables me to manually block up to 1500 numbers.  Double protection is the only way to block these low life nuisances

Been getting calls from this number every other day, finally picked it up. Heavy foreign accent, maybe Filipino. They knew my name and asked if I was interested in selling my house (they knew the address also), said they were cash buyers. I said not interested and asked how they got my info, they said they were getting names with addresses and phone numbers and targeting them...it smelled like SCAM and she just verified it!!!
