I do not answer these calls. If they cant sent it in writing they can go scratch or get in line behind everyone else. Whats weird is I have a Magic Jack which no one has the number to strange.

They are asking for someone and harassing me!!!!

Called today looking for a lady that used to live next door.  They said they would remove my phone number. Wonder how they got it in the first place?

I received a call from them to. doesn't anyone know this world is a mess with people just living paycheck to paycheck to feed their families and pay electric.   If I owe a bill they can wait in line.  Tell the president and others to make changes and people need to be understanding when we don't have money to pay everyone - my saying it is cheaper to be dead.   So sad.

Received a call from them and they stated in their message they were looking to collect a debt. I called them, turned out they had my number because the person they were looking for used to have it. I asked them to simply remove my number and notified them I had had this number for close to a year and did not know the individual they were looking for. They did call at several inappropriate times, well before 7 on some days and late into the night. The message is always automated with a "client id number".

I have gotten several calls from this number and have not be able to speak to anyone to find out who they are and what they want. I am unemployed living paycheck to paycheck and they are just going to have to deal with it. Tell me who you are and why you are calling me, if not leave me alone. .

I just received my second call from this "Joel Cardis" person.
It shows on my caller ID as: Joel Cardis- 610-239-7147
A recorded woman's voice then says to call back on some toll free #..877--444-4655..then give an "ID" #.

I am not in behind on any payments.
Was forced into bankruptcy 6 yrs.ago, but since have worked up my credit score & even gotten a home..all by myself as a single woman.

It's been hard, but I did it!
Can this Joel Cardis ruin my credit with a bogus "debt claim?"
I see this call is from PA. & I live in CO.

I feel I should just ignore it, yet then wonder if I should call "them" back?
Things like this are kind of scary.

Constant non-stop calls from this number even though I owe no debt.

Been called by this firm under a couple of different phone numbers.  I block the number, then they call from another number.  Same as stories above about case# and trying to collect a debt.  No names given.  I won't be answering there calls.

These guys started calling me and threatening me with bodily harm. LOL good luck with that! When I call them back they won't shut up long enough to listen to anything so obviously they don't really want their money. I told them that under the fair debt collection act, I have the right to see the original bill. According to them I don't have that right. Huh?Indiana attorney general Greg Zoeller says I do. They also tell me they have the account since Oct 2013 and I am all of a sudden hearing from them in Jan 2015? BTW, PA has no record of an attorney named Joel Cardis, they do however have a collection agency with that name.

They have been calling me for a couple months-I know I don't have any debt.  Most times I get robo-calls and not a human. As I have a pay per call cell phone-I try not to answer calls I don't know.  A human was actually on the phone today asking for a Misty-there is no Misty in my family nor do I know one.  Hope they quit calling now.

Let them know the the next time they call person they are after is not at your number. If they continue to call, inform them they are violating the TCPA and FDCPA by robo-dialing your cell phone and harassing a non-debtor, and you intend to take legal action against them if the calls do not stop.

These people (2 guys 1 girl) have called my boyfriends phone several times. One day asked very personal details about our relationship. Said he was going to come find us and asked to f@#k me. He then began to express that he IS going to f@#k me no matter what. Today this number called and i answered (not paying attention to the number b/c i thought it was my school calling) the man asked for my boyfriend i answered with may i ask who is calling he said is this his wife and said he needs to confirm so he can tell me what the situation is. I hung up. If this number keeps calling me i AM taking legal action!

What is up with these people and how do you stop them? I owe no debt they're calls are annoying & they space them out a few months. I'm ready to disconnect my landline.

This firm is running a debt collection scam.  They obtain parcel bits of information, (not sure how), and fish for people to pay bogus debts.  I recently received a collection attempt from them by mail for a bogus debt claim.  When I confronted them, they were not able to produce any documentation to support their claim and referred me to the company they claimed I had generated the original debt with and pay them directly, (RED FLAG).  Which I did and they verified this was a bogus effort.

Furthermore, once a debt collector is properly hired and the debt is transferred to them, you can only pay them.  Once they said I could pay either them or the original company, I know they were lying.  BEWARE!!!!

Lady calling said she was from law office, wanting to collect a debt (answering machine several times). SCAM! Didn't call back and won't. Similar to people saying they are calling from the IRS to collect back taxes, another SCAM. Calls  started  shortly after getting bogus call from those pretending to be from  IRS. Maybe those scammers are feeding off each other. A side note, how can those people calling live with themselves. I don't owe any outstanding debts.

Keep getting calls from this number and dont know why.  From reading hte comments on this page it looks like a fraudulent operation.  Anyway to make them stop calling me.  I have already signed up for the no-call

These people called me at home a few times, now they are calling my past employers. Stop these nasty people NOW....... They left a message that they were going to send me to JAIL. I don't owe anyone anything.
