These people call with a pre-recorded message saying they want to discuss a personal matter but never stating who they wish to talk to evidently fishing for information. We don't have any debts so, nope, never returning calls from scam artists like these.

They call my cell phone never identifying who they wish to speak to and it's evident they're fishing for a victim for a bogus debt. I don't owe anyone and have no intention of calling them back.

Well I verified who I was but he insisted on verifying my address and date of birth. I asked what's the call all about and he said he can't divulge any information regarding as to why his calling me. I told him I will not verify or confirm my address or date of birth unless he tells what's the call all about. The male said "since you don't want to verify any information and it's against the law that I provide you with any information... I'm ending the conversation".  Really? You want me to pay you but you can't give me information as to why I'm paying you or who do I owe the debt?

Its a scam....called them back. Asked who they were calling for they say the name(first name only) asked them which one...they hesitated & gave the name.only problem was it was my husbands name (as1st) & my name (as last). They said they would remove our # from their "list".
Its a scam.....as them to verify information...do not give any out to.them!

Called and said they were debt collectors

Joel Cardis LLC - a law firm called my home phone to "collect a debt" from my wife - using her former married name. Once they noticed that the family name did not match their "record" they stated to have called the wrong number.

I just received a call and a voice mail message from this number.  In reading the comments it looks like a scam amd I'm not calling them back (unless I decide just to call and mess with them)

Received a phone call claiming to be calling for debt collection.  The did not identify me by name or a case or file # to call them back.  Gave this number as a call back, claimed they were a law firm.  Did a reverse look up on the number.  Found it is registered to a Shannea E Daku at  1009 W Moreland Rd Willow Grove PA 19090-3035.  Requested more information (the free kind) and found that 17 addresses and 9 phone numbers are associated with this person.  Under the crime and traffic report (which, admittedly could be all traffic violations) there were 10 incidents!!   The details cost money, so I didn't go there. This doesn't scream legitimate business to me!  Definitely not calling back!

They call me today, leave a message: so hard to understand   because the lay talked so fast, they do not leave a message on my name, just said, their are calling from a laweyer office for important matter speak to me

I just received a call from this number.  I don't have ANY outstanding debt with ANYONE  I did not answer; they did not leave a message.  Glad I read this page before calling back

No, NOT a legit company. Scam artists on the reported scam lists already! Donna, are you working for them or what? They do not follow protocols for legitimate businesses and are simply playing on weak minded people who don't know any better. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISITS!!!!

received a voicemail saying it was from Joel Cardis attorney office and to call them back. I called number 610.239.7147 immediately got a recording saying it the office of Joel Cardis LLC and it was "an attempt to collect a debt and all calls would be recorded". It then rang about 7 or 8 times and no one answered and there was no option to leave a voicemail, just kept ringing.

They can keep calling until HELLfreezes over. I do not answer calls I don't know, from anyone. Do they actually get paid to harass people??

left a message  Did not ask for a specific person, just that they were trying to collect a debt.  Ummm I don't owe any money to anyone.  And it is illegal to leave a message like that on a cell phone, esp one that  has no recorded message to identify who is being called.....

Left two messages that they were trying to collect a debt. Did not name who they are looking for or to whom the debt is owed. I have no debts

They keep leaving me messages about a debt they need to collect. I keep my bills paid off each month.
