- Mary replies to Becky| 2 replies.... And I would bet that, because you read him the riot act, he has not only put you back in cue, but has shared your number all over the place with other scammers. Just to fix your wagon. So I hope it was worth every word, to you. That's what happened two years ago to me, the first time I ever got a scam call. I was napping and in pain, and I didn't know poop about scams or how to conduct myself yet. I cirst tried to appeal to his conscience as if he had some sense of decency, then yelled at him. Shortly thereafter, I got a bunch of catalogs and very vraohic porno catalogs in the mail, and a lot of scam calls. I had to learn everything the hard way. I wish my experience could help other people to evade the entire situation. I know now that the FTC and FCC don't care and are useless, and that it's up to us to share with and support each other. These scammers are like a venereal disease that keeps getting passed around.
- Mary replies to MaryGraphic, not vraohic. Sorry.
- Mary replies to BJWActually, it will probably lead to more calls to you, sweetie.
- Mary replies to Tim| 1 replyProbably not about their IQs, they're at least clever, even though they might lack depth. Probably more likely because of overpopulation and poverty in India. Or maybe some mental illness, as well.
- DriverK| 1 replySome Indian woman, whom I could barely understand, stated I had a computer virus. She did understand, though, when I called her a f*cking scammer 'cause she hung up real fast, lol!

- Ashley| 2 repliesI'm being harrassed by someone at this number! They won't stop calling despite repeated, forceful requests!
- Caller: Different each time
- Mary replies to Elaine Fannin| 1 replyDon't give them empty threats, they'll only laugh about you. They know the police won't get involved in this sort of thing and I doubt they'd care even if your cops did get involved. Scammers have the safety of anonymity. They only hung up when you threatened them, because they wanted to try to scam the next person. The only time cops might be interested, is if the scammer actually threatened your life, and even then, they'd probably tell you to call the phone company, and your carrier would instruct you on how to trace a certain number of threat calls... You'd have no other proof or documentation. It would take time and effort in your part. Best thing would be to ignore the call, don't answer. Then come here to validate that it was a scam number. I also have Call Screening that I can hear out loud wherever I am in the house. These guys usually disconnect while my outgoing message plays.
