amazon. calls if theres a question with your order. called us at 6:14 AM over cat litter we ordered a week earlier.. unbelievable...

They called and left no voice message but then right after I got a text stating they needed to set up a time to deliver something. I never ordered anything much less what they stated I ordered. I sent back a text stating they had a wrong number. Who knows?

I got 2 calls from this number yesterday.  The first one left no message.  The second tome he only said his name was John and he received a package meant for me - addresses to me?  And wanted “some more information”.   He left a cell phone number & asked me to call back.     I haven’t called back.

It is actually a carrier for Amazon and they are trying to schedule a delivery.

This is exactly what just happened to me .  Received package yesterday, had not ordered. Called # 10 minutes ago and got "scam #"  during  call. Glad I checked out # and found all this identical experience info.

Got to back to back calls from this number that came from  La Puente, CA. A message was left after the second call that said hi: “Hi this is Harry from (not clear but sounded like GRAIN something or other). Said he was trying to reach a name he struggled pronouncing, then said “oh sh*t” and hung up.  I strongly suspect a phone scam so blocked any future attempts

this call came in claiming to be from AMAZON.

call came 09:27AM, I was not there to answer, left no message, from reading thru the reports, believe firmly is a scam, sounds to be someone/gang got a hold of Amazon's data.

You're right that it's a scam but considering they're also calling people who haven't ordered from Amazon, they probably didn't get hold of Amazon data.

received the same msg.  The caller gave me a different number to call him back but his name and number was so muffled I couldn't understand any of it.

Valid number - Amazon freight delivery service.

I ignored it until they called three times in 10-minutes.  I picked up ready to blast someone...but it actually turned out to be a delivery guy standing outside my door trying to deliver an air conditioner I ordered.

Had they actually left a message, I might have picked up the second time they called.

Not a scam. It was a call for an Amazon freight delivery. The driver called through this number and left me a VM with his cell number for direct contact.

Didn’t answer because I didn’t know who was calling. They left no message. Any reputable customer service agency would have the sense to leave a message if the message was legitimate.

No message, but caller ID said "Amazon Ordr Inf". I missed the call, but called Amazon directly. They said that it was a scam, Amazon will not call you. Good to know.

I got a call just this morning. the voice mail said they were calling from Amazon about a shirt I ordered and asked to call back at 646-436-0333. they didn't leave a name. but I knew I ordered the shirt. I called. The guy just said hello. He didn't respond with a name or company. then he asked if this was "BL" which I said yes and he said the shirt I ordered was not in stock in the color I ordered and wanted to let me pick a different color before they ship it out. So I did. I'll see if it arrives. They didn't ask for any payment information or any other personal information.

Got a call from this number yesterday. The lady was nice and it did concern a large item I had ordered from Amazon that I knew would be delivered by truck freight due to size. She knew my name, address, what the item was and simply asked me to verify those things. She then provided me with a delivery time window and asked if that would work for me. She also repeated what I had been told by Amazon that I would be required to sign for the item due to value.
Not certain how others have had a bad experience with this number, however, it is possible some scammer has spoofed this number. I know that is real because last year I got a call on my landline that the caller ID stated was me calling on my landline.
