This is not Amazon Customer Service. The caller may work at a company that uses Amazon to sell items. I am receiving calls from this number after receiving defective and misrepresented item I am returning to Amazon.

Received this call from a freight company to schedule delivery for product I ordered through Amazon. They wanted to make sure someone was home to accept package due to it being a large freight item. They left the carrier company number in the voicemail, which is a different number. When I called, they confirmed contents of package and confirmed if I would be home to accept delivery.

This number called me 3 times and left a message. Even the message left in my voicemail was suspicious. The caller did not identify herself nor the company she worked for. Only that she contacted FedEx to stop my package from being delivered. I did order a gift on Ebay, but because the seller did not update with the tracking information, I had no idea the package shipped. Then to top things off, my phone identified this number as (potential fraud) and blocked the calls everytime this lady called me. The voicemail she left only made me certain that indeed this was a scam or fraud attempt. Fast forward to today, when I FINALLY got the tracking number from the ebay seller, I realized that it was regarding my package and that FedEx is returning my package, without even attempting delivery, back to the seller. So beware, it isn't just Amazon using this service but Ebay also. If you recently made an online purchase through Amazon or Ebay, and they're using FedEx or DHL to ship it to you, you just might want to answer the call.
