- Old Marine replies to MeI had forgotten hearing your point addressed before, and it seems to make good sense that, by me sitting there and listening to the whole nine yards of yakkety yak about home invasions, burglaries, and the drivel about a "FREE ALARM SYSTEM", they probably conclude (rightfully!) that I must be stupid enough to eventually buy something.
From now on, I plan to just report them to Nat'l DNC list.... Which seems to be designed to help us think we did something, but which seems to have scant effect, as the same clowns keep calling and calling and calling and calling.
Is there anyone actually THERE at Nat'l Do Not Call List, or is it just another Federal Pork Program, telling us that Congress actually did something to help? - PhilCalled 4 times and I wish they would stop. I am on the do not call list?

- Hank| 2 repliesListened to the message claiming not to be a sales call - offered free home security system because, " . . . there has been an increase in crime in my neighborhood" and that their system is, " . . . . connected directly with the local Fire and Police Departments." Pressed "2" to not receive any more like calls. Reported them to the NDNC Registry -

- SPAM Hater replies to Hank| 1 replyDon't waste your time reporting these scammers to the Government. The FCC and the FTC are doing nothing to enforce the Do Not Call List. This is obvious by the number of phone calls those on the Do Not Call List are receiving. It is too bad the IRS isn't as slack as the FCC and FTC, then we could all save a lot of money on our income taxes. Perhaps if the Government won't help us, we need to help ourselves. Maybe it is time for a little vigilante action. Someone near the scammers office needs to gather up some friends and pay them a “friendly” little visit.

- bvcRegistered on do not call list, even for cell phone. With the total increase of all these junk calls and repeat call from same or slightly different #, I am beginning to think that our #s are being sold to these companies by do not call list May be it is a new way for gov to get our data easily and sell it to generate income
I now answer no calls I do not know number Pressing # to no call again only generates more calls.
May be some politician can actualy do something useful and stop telemarketer calls- Caller: 631-482-3381

- GaryCall today. Caller id read Babylon. I thought Babylon was destroyed years ago. Robo call ask if I was interested in a "free security system." Said they were calling because either there had been a rise in crime in my neighborhood or one of my neighbors recommended me. I know crime is down around here and I seriously doubt one of my neighbors recommended me and I seriously doubt the security system is free. Regardless, the call violated the DNC law and I'm filing complaints with FCC, FTC, and state attorney general's office. These people make me sick and I'd like to pull one of their ears off.

- DPATLI got a call from this number. It starts with a recording telling you how crime rates are up in your neighborhood they want to give me a wireless security system. You are then given an option to press 1 to speak to a live representative or press 3 to be removed from their call list. You know darn well they will not remove you from their list if you press 3. I pressed one, once I got live represetative on the line I asked for the name of their company. I was told General Electric. I'm pretty sure it is not the large GE company though. I told them I am on the No Call List and before I could finish telling them to remove me from their call list they hung up on me. I reported them.
