No idea who this is, however have had a few calls from them.  Reads: 'New York' on call id. Never answer the calls.

I let the machine answer.  They didn't leave a message.

Caller ID displayed '4 SPAM' so it was a easy decision not to answer.

I HAVE BEEN ON THE DO NOT CALL FOR YEARS!!!!!!!  NEW AGE, NEW TECHNOLOGY. IT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. STILL GETTING UNWANTED CALL. ESPECIALLY BEFORE I WAKE UP.  ANYTHING I WANT I PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO GET IT!! I DON'T LIKE OVER THE PHONE ADS. I REALLY HATE THEM.!!!

Seems all of these phone calls are scams anymore.  Apparently the home security thing must be the latest new fad scam.

Don't you just love hour our Government protects us.  Not.

There needs to be a law passed that any business selling something or charity organization is not allowed to call anyone.  They can do it through mail.  Anything else is just pure harassment.

Call came in this morning trying to sell alarm monitoring......said they are from central security in New Orleans

I just received a call and they said it was NOT a sales call. There has been a rise in crime in my area and I have been referred by a friend to receive a wireless security system. Um, yeah, NO!!! I can handle my own security, thank you very much.

I recieved this call minutes ago and have already completed the Missouri Do Not Call Complaint Form! Missouri always tracks these people down that call numbers on the states do not call list and sues them! I have released the dogs of war!

Just received my first call from this number, but I never answer these scammers. The caller i.d. said 4 Spam, and I noticed on this website that these people took a break between October and now (January) with no calls reported in between. So they have just changed their caller i.d. but are the same scammers as before. They use other numbers too because their m.o. is the same: "Don't hang up. This is not a scam. There has been a robbery in your neighborhood..." and then they try to sell you an alarm system. Jerks.

I have to say that I  have PHONE TRAY, a program that will zap calls like these after only one ring. This program also lets me block entire area codes, like 459 and 458 and 66l and 855, many of which have different tele. numbers under those area codes.  It also keeps a log of all the numbers you have programmed it to block so that if I want to see patterns, I can do it easily. It's inexpensive and GREAT!  I highly recommend it.

these are calls over the internet, VOIP systems spoof the caller ID and if they get you interested they have a network of security companies that are installers of GE SECURITY SYSTEMS to follow up

these are people in the phillipines, india, and other nations that I have a hard time pronouncing the names of

they get paid very little compared to their US counterparts, and all they have to do is speak and understand English, the most popular language in the world

until the companies that exploit these telemarketers stop using them, this is not going to end

the FTC has no control over what they do in foreign countries

and the government refuses to take action against companies that are more than willing to exploit the situation like GE

I saw this number on Craigslist while looking for available apartments. Several nice apartment descriptions had this number listed to make appts for viewing the apts. I knew it was a scam because there were no localities or addresses depicting where the apts were located. I punched in the number into Google and arrived here. they are probably using these tactics to get new numbers from people to update their calling lists. Nice scam.

Agreed that ElGovernmente has no teeth in this matter. Here's the simple, legal solution: fake interest, set up an appointment for installation, then (a)don't be home, (b)change your mind when they get there and/or (c)read them the DNCR Law when they arrive. Trying to filter the real from fake customers should prove EXTREMELY difficult for Alliance Security and their ilk. Bonus: when they arrive, having at hand a large dog, machete or shotgun/pistol is great theater and may convince another salesman to take up a new career, hopefully with a company that OBEYS THE LAW.

They are at it again. Call received on home phone while I was out. They did not leave message. Caller ID said SPAM 4. I blocked it after I removed one from my list of blocked calls. Unfortunately Comcast only has twenty-five number blocking capacity.

Just got one from this number.  CLID shows "4 SPAM'  Let it got ot Vmail  Did not leave a message.  The number is now blocked by my magic box.  Ha Ha!!
