I received a call from this number today and didn't answer.  They left a message stating they were from the "Get Motivated Seminar", which I attended here in Phoenix a couple months ago.  It was a recording promoting a real estate investing seminar.

There is a job posting on CL saying you can make $1000 a week somehow and to "Call for details 24/7 641-715-3900 ext 670223#" What the hell is this place? I'm glad I search email addresses and phone numbers before I apply to ANYTHING on craigslist

That same ad is here in DC.  "NO Whiners, Wimps, Or Day Dreamers Allowed".  I can't imagine what kind of a scam they have going.

It's a scam all over Craigslist message board which has you call this number and enter an extension (various extensions on CL, each a different program) , then they tell you they are going to pay you up to 2k per week, the jobs vary from extension to extension, some offer to pay you 40 an hour, for data entry, to put more ads online, buy stamps and mail their postcards, all again, claiming to make you rich!!! Just another "Affiliate" Scam.  IAMediaMarketing.info and projectpayday.com scam.

It's a so called online marketing job.  It's posted on Craigslist stating that you can make up to a $1000.00 a week doing online data entry and customer service.  Here is the link they sent me http://www.takeforeveroff.here.ws/

Didn't get a call from them but got an email from them in response to my resume.  Here's what was emailed to me.

I was looking for a job and came across this ad on craigslist.  I always investigate as much as I can before replying to craigslist ads.  Anyways 641-715-3900 an extension was listed as a contact so I googled it and ended up here.  Hope this helps someone. Sounds like a scam.

Ok so I sent my resume in response to an ad for Computer work on Craigslist.org. I received this email in return:

How rude what are you a three year old!!!! I agree that Trevors attitude was COMPLETELY inappropriate but calling someone at there work to cuss them out is horrible. Having worked in customer relations I have had to clean up after people like Trevor many times. I have had many days I took my breaks just to cry and I was 16, so before you go around tearing everyone down think about the HUMAN on the other end of your complaints.

I was monitoring my company on Twitter and noticed that someone is using my company name (FPM Marketing) and this phone number with an extention for a job posting in Texas.

1. I'm not located in Texas.

I park in a park & ride to take the bus.  I often return to my car in the evening to ads under the windshield.  (I hate that.)  Today I found a yellow stickynote on my driver side window:

Did someone dent my car?  I gave my car a looksee but didn't see anything new.  So I drove home.  On the way out of the parkinglot I notice many other cars had the same sticky.  

The information here is useful.  I understand the number is just a service, the real scumbag is on the extension.  So before you vent on the first extension you see here, consider the wisdom of complaining to the CORRECT scumbag.
