Had a call from this number at 10:30 pm last night. I own a roofing company, he said they had lots of units needing to be roofed, and he would be out of town. But to email his brother at jim@jimross.info.

I got a call last night at 9:36pm he said his name was Carl Ross and he will be out of the area but had several roofs for us to do and to email his brother jim@jimross.info.  sounds suspiciously like your phone call.

Got a call from this company at 10:11pm Friday night which woke my wife and I! Not cool! Same story..."Carl Ross is calling to give me some single family roofs in the area. Please email my brother at jim@jimross.info for more information".

Scam!

I run a roofing company in Ohio and ironically received the same phone call on Friday evening at 10:41PM Eastern Standard time.  Sounded too good to be true there again...

I got exactly same call at 10:02PM. He said his name was Carl Roff and he wanted us to contact his brother Jim Roff and gave an email address jim@jimroff.info and saying just put roofing on subject line and nothing else. Who are they and why they doing this?

I work for a roofing company and this message came into the office Friday Aprl 13th at 10:44pm.
It was very vague and asked us to email his brother at
jim@jimrossi.info

He said they will be doing several roofs over the next few months.

Yeah right!

got a call from carl ross from 641-715-3900 said he had several roofs he needed roofed over a period of time. BS call!!!!

We own a roofing business too and got the same message from Carl Ross, woke me up too...#annoyed. Totally sounded like a scam.

I've owned my own company for 47 years, and i've found there are 2 or 3 out of a hundred companies that have any credibility. Best just to avoid them unless you enjoy sucking down TUMS every hour.

For those of you that do not have the brains to understand that any telephone solicitation made to you is a company or person out for a hussle, and 99.9% have no creditability. When was the last time pepsi or sears, or home depot or bon tons  called you? Buyer be very aware. You will always lose time and probably all your money. If your not sure of any thing always get professional advise and then believe 50% of that advise. The other 50% is usually profit taking. Like investments.

Needless to say, sounded fishy...googled and found this scammer forum...

I got this call from Carl Ross wanting us to do fumigation services for a bunch of homes for his brother Ed Ross. He asked us to email his brother at ed @ edross.info   We started to follow up on the lead but my computer crashed in the middle of my email post. Then once re booted I googled this fella and checked out this mysterious looking website. I'm curious if this phone thing will continue...

Got voicemail from this number.  Man says he is Carl Ross out of town visiting relatives, but needs to schedule several fumigations of single family dwellings over a period of time.  Says to email his brother Ed at <ed@edross.info>.  Don't people have anything productive to do?

Got the Carl Ross convoluted fumigation call/emails also. Thought it was a sting as they propose to pay two thirds upfront. What is the darn point of  this whole thing?

BTW, looked up the Jordan-Franks.com and it was created in Dec of 2011. Scam for sure but to what end?

This fellow has a lot of brothers.  I have a pest control business and he want me to contact Ed Ross at Ed@EdRoss.Info.  I said this is BS and deleted the message.

I run a small pest control company, got this call email brother...and I also got that "fishy" feel so I googled and wala! I appreciat all who post these to help other from falling victom...

Guy called business and cell phone # about fumigating several properties, also believe it's a scam, no phone numbers left to contact this potential client, and then I go to website and this is what I encounter.......Please take me off of your dummy calling list!

I reported this number and email to FCC. Sounds like some kind of scam.

Yes it is. I saw this in the journal of Accountancy July 2012 issue.
