I run a house painting co, they left message, they have a bunch of houses to paint, and to email davidcarr@info.com, give my location, and they would contact me to have me paint. Another bs call. I get 1-3 phone solicitations a day, it gets real tiring.

We also have a painting business, and received a similar message...we were told the fellow leaving the message name is George Car, but to email his brother Don at Don@doncar.info as he was visiting folks out of state and won't be available for at least few weeks and that Don is handling the painting arrangements.  Seemed suspicious to me, so i decided to do a little search of the number....GLAD I did!!!  Thank you for posting about the bogus call!!

I own a painting company in northern California and received the same phone message regarding leads from a George Car who will be out of town and that I should respond to email:don@doncar.info - his brother. George's message promised "dozens of homes to paint in my area" .  I haven't responded as it sounds fishy. My email address is rmc@sbcglobal.net

I run a painting company in SW Colorado, and I suspected the contact and follow-up email I received from "George Car" was somehow fraudulent because it sounded too good to be true when they said they had a dozen homes they needed a painter for.  (You don't call someone out the blue for such a project, of course!)
I was more suspicious when they wrote back describing excellent, guaranteed terms for our compensation and specifying that we shouldn't be worried about an extremely competitive price because quality was the important consideration on these jobs.
Now that I see they made the same offer to a California painter, I will not be contacting them anymore.  Thank you for the information!

I work for a roofing company and they left a message over the weekend about dozens of homes needing roofing and gave his "brothers" email address. Checked the website it doesn't exist. It reeked of a scam to me so I looked it up... I love this site, use it all the time. I prefer for them to reach me. My favorite way of dealing with telemarketers who won't take no for an answer? Buy an Air horn, you know the little can that is really loud. Blow it right in the phone. It has never failed me, anyone who hears this especially if they have an ear piece in will probably quit the telemarketing business!

I've owned my own company for 47 years, and i've found there are 2 or 3 out of a hundred companies that have any credibility. Best just to avoid them unless you enjoy sucking down TUMS every hour.

For those of you that do not have the brains to understand that any telephone solicitation made to you is a company or person out for a hussle, and 99.9% have no creditability. When was the last time pepsi or sears, or home depot or bon tons  called you? Buyer be very aware. You will always lose time and probably all your money. If your not sure of any thing always get professional advise and then believe 50% of that advise. The other 50% is usually profit taking. Like investments.
