This nut called my landline and I had no clue who would have called me from New York..til I googled the number. After reading all the posts everyone put out there I did nothing more but to laugh my fanny off. What a jerk a*&. If I happen to grab the phone in a hurry (not looking at the caller id) I will play his little game til I give him something to listen to..a whistle being blown in his Indian ear. Tata

I just hung up from receiving a call from this number 646-502-6605.  I had to say Hello 3 times before
anyone spoke...it was a man with a think Indian accent...he asked to speak to Ms xyxyxy (I couldn't make
out who he was asking for)..I told him there was no one here by that name...I asked what number he was calling the he said 253-nxx-xxxx...I told him he reached the right number but no one by the name he was
looking for...then he said that was the number that appeared in the computer for Ms xyxyxy...he then told me my computer was in trouble and I told NO it was't and GOODBYE .

When i told them i would not let them access my computer because i did not know them.  He yelled at me and said what do you see on your computer screen.  I then hung up on him.  Now they have repeately called me every few minutes  but i have not answered phone again.  That is where i found out it is scam.

Constant calls from 646-502-6605.  I don't answer yet they never give up.

Got call from caller id as 646-502-6605 regarding computer virus.  Called my state AG's office which is in MO.  They said there is nothing they can do as this is an out of country call as they have had previous reports and they scam calling from numbers..  Lame so lame, yet IRS has cracked bank accounts in Swiss accounts, Caymen Islands etc, but can't get these lowlife scammers from india?  Do your job USA.

I got the same call from the same guy.  I hung up!  He stated that he was from a computer company.

I just got the same call from same number... He wouldn't talk at first, then he had said he was calling about our computer  I had replied what do you need to know then he wouldn't answer so I replied  I would report him to the FCC  and he told me to go ahead.   We had gotten a message on our computer the night before saying it was the FBI and would have to pay $200 within 48 hours or face imprisonment for 5 years.  Are these scammers now holding our computers as hostages until we pay them to remove the viruses they put on them?!?!?  Something needs done about these scammers - they are getting ridiculous!!!

9/26/12, at 1:48 pm central time.  I received a call from 646-502-6605, showing New York, NY.  The man (with an accent) asked for a different person by name.  I said no one with that name was at this number and that it was our residence.  He then automatically said, well, it's about the computer.  I hung up.

It was interesting how quickly he just slid right in there with the line about the computer, no matter who he had on the phone.

I don't have any problems with my Mac.  I'm sure he thought I was a PC owner.  I didn't call for service, as my Mac never needs service and never gets a virus.  So he is full of hot air.  Hang up on him, and keep reporting him.

I did not answer as I did not recognize the number.  No message was left.

I am also getting these phone calls.. I recently purchased 3 computers from hp direct, Now I am wondering if they sold my home phone number to this a@@hole. I am going to call them and find out, then I am reporting him to the FCC as well. He needs to be shut down. Whats even creepier then that, is right after I told him to never call my house again, my computer shut down suddenly for no reason. I did not do anything at all, open anything or nothing like that. I dont know if thats a coincidence or what. But it is freaking me out.

I am getting the same call however there is no one on the other end when I answer and I cannot call the number back.

Number calls every day between 15:45 and 16:00 CDT. It is getting on my last nerve.

My number is in "do not call" list, but still get too many unnecessary phone calls from telemarketers.

646-502-6605 left a voicemail "regarding legal matters in local county court".

Scam. Claiming IRS is suing. Called three times today. Also claiming this number is the county courthouse and call back before lawsuit is filed.

I just recieved a call from this number and it was a recording letting me know it was the IRS calling and someone filed a lawsuit against me and to call them right away.  It was a very strange message. They told me to call them back at this number.

Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

I got a call from a male's voice with a thick accent in my voicemail today 4/26/15 from 646-502-6605 telling me that a lawsuit has been filed against me in the county court.  Didn't even tell which court.  He advised to call him back.  I didn't and googled his number right away.  I am surprised that there were several complaints against this number and nothing was done.  Most of the complaints were all about going to the computer. I guess mine is different scam since the computer scam didn't work.
