This number 1-661-380-3000 called today March 29th 2011 at 5:48 PM. (Pacific Time) I did not answer and left no message. Yesterday on March 28th 5:59 AM 1-000-012-3456 called and left no message. I first thought it was my grandmother calling from Japan but why the strange numbers? So I decided to google it and boy am I glad I didn't answer!

My question is how did they get our numbers? The only thing I can think of is couple weeks ago my husband signed up for this job search thing through craigslist. Ever since then I've been getting tons of spam in my email and weird calls.

I know better than to sign up for anything from craigslist but my husband is "new" to the whole internet/computer thing. I wish I could opt out!

Who is this that keeps calling my cell phone number??

These freakin idiots just called me at 1:30am Eastern time...grrr and I could hear a little background noise but no1 answered when I said hello..I called the # back but a guy on a recording quickly says "no route" and it quickly clicks to a busy line tone...ughhh! :-(

Got a call at 1 am last night and the message was just empty sound with some weird dull thumps equally spaced every few seconds for about 15 seconds.  Pretty sure this was a spam call for me... no friends in Afghanistan or who would call me at that hour from skype...

Recieved call, didn't answer. Called number back phone didn't ring and it sounded like "robs phone" and then it rang. At the end of the ringing it said "my call can not be completed please contact customer service" not sure what this number is but.. I'll answer next time.

this number has been calling my house-661-380-3000--calling my family members names and making threats...reverse phone look up  says its from california..

i just received a couple calls from this number and didnt pick up.  come to find out it was my boyfriend calling from skype.  the number shows up as dif. things, either this number, "unknown" of some number that starts of with "00"

I recieved a call today from this number. The person could not speak English well and claimed to be from Walmart informing me I won a 1200 dollar gift card. This person had a previous address on file. He said they needed to verify my info.....right...

I called myself from Skype and my cell recorded this number. Obviously, it can be used legitimately or not.

Relax people, just skype!  My brother is in Afghanistan and I have friends in Dubai, Brazil, Uruguay, and all over Europe.  I set up to forward the skype calls to my phone if I'm not logged in.  Sometimes it comes up as a private number or this 661.  I thought at first it was my family from California.

why do people continually add comments to this thread when others have said plenty of times who the number belongs. I am in the US - Massachusetts - and called my cell from my skype phone and it came up with this number. So clearly you don't have to be out of country. Also, like someone else said, just because there are idiots out there with skype, doesn't mean that every call from this number is bad.

THIS IS A SKYPE NUMBER. IT CAN BE FROM A BAD OR GOOD COMPANY. BAD OR GOOD PERSON. IT'S JUST A SKYPE NUMBER.

My roommate just called from this number... It's a skype thing but you can also set it up to show your number. however it's mostly used for international calls, so if you don't know anyone internationally id not answer but check with your friends they may be calling via skype & this is that number

My boyfriend is in the army and he is deployed to Italy. He calls me from this number using skpye because it is cheaper than making international calls.

I just recieved a phone call from the number 6613803000 and it was a girl from a fabric manufacturing place from China. Clearly this number has been used for many things. My recommendation is just DONT ANSWER :)

I get calls in blocks of 4-6 , day and night.  they come from, "Unavailable", 000-012-3456 and 661-380-3000.  If I don't answer it goes to  a maximum voice mail.  The dialogue in the background is The Alex Jones radio program  on www.Infowars.com .  I don't believe Jones  is behind it, but it is his radio broadcast.  I have e-mailed them , but have never received an answer.  from Las Vegas, NV

ok i was on skype, talking to my friend and then something just disconnect us...and right away i received the call with this caller id number i picked up but nobody answered and my friend called me back on skype right the next moment. it was was not my friend who was calling on my cell definitely. I just have 3 questions:
1) why and how skype called on my cell? who is responsible for that?
2) and why this s*** keep f****** around with people?

Beginning two weeks ago I began receiving calls to both my home and my cell phones at least 30 times a day.  I am sure it has something to do with my ex-girlfriend, JOI ROBBIN MORRICE.  The research I have conducted shows that this is some kind of SKYPE spamming/ phone game.  The three numbers coming in are:

I received two calls from 661-380-3000 this morning (04/14/11) on my cell phone.  A voice mail was left that was poor quality. It said something about my computer having a virus and to go online to www.soslb.com for online service and tech support.  This was not left by a "live" person but a computer generated message.

My Caller-ID displayed the number and said the call originated in Palmdale.

This is just another rip-off scam carried out by one or more thieves.
