Have gotten 3 calls from these jerks

Just received a call from this number. I recognize the 661 area code, and thinking it was a buddy from college, I called it back and got this message:

The number you have called is associated with a call that originated from a "void" service provider and is not associated with any specific user; therefore, the subscriber who originated the call cannot be reached at this number.  Any informatio n regarding the nature of this call will only be provided in accordance with a lawful request made by the appropriate law enforcement agency.  Please report threatening or malicious activities to local law enforcement for further investigation."

... then I checked my voice mail and it was another friend using Skype from China.

Just missed a call from this number, and thinking it was a buddy from college, called back and got this message:

It's a generic Skype tel # that could be a friend using a VoIP telephone

I got a call today and they left me a voice message.The phone number was 661-380-3000.They said they was from Drug Mart they they had 3 or more of my prescriptions ready.I dont even use Drug Mart for my prescriptions.The number wasnt Drug Mart here.

said it was from treusch law group

This was Super Shuttle confirming my pick up.  It was a digitized voice, so it could very well be over a Skype line.

I received multiple calls the past half hour or so.  First time it said "number unavailable," next few times it said 6613803000 on the caller ID.

I don't bother with numbers I don't recognize, and whoever is calling me from number is SOL if they think I'm going to be played like some fool.  While I do have a couple relatives that live overseas, they don't call at a time when it would be 4 AM for them.  And they don't use Skype or other variants -- they use a landline!  If there were a seriously pressing matter or emergency, they would leave a message telling me to get back to them A.S.A.P.  Or they'd tell other relatives to contact me.  None of that even happened.

But since it's so important to call me multiple times WITHOUT leaving a message and wasting my time, I won't be Mr. Nice Guy when I answer it.

Has anybody just been asked to put their number ebay. I put it on today and now am getting phone calls from 661-380-3000.

I called the number back after I go to two calls within fifteen minutes.  From what the answering said, this a number subscribers can use to call another party without it being traceable, so there is no way to know what idiot actually called you.  For whoever thought that was a necessary service -- Thanks for nothing

I got a call from this number and he asked who this was not even hello. I said who are you and why are you calling me. He said this is Peter and then said my name. I was like who the f*** is this and hung up the phone? Then I did a Google search of phone number and blocked number immediately from my phone.

Some ppl use this to legItimatley call you by skype...it somehow saves them.

Anyway I just received a call from a legitimate business i work from occasionally from this very #. From what he told me its like a server # and the calls go out from it from alot of skpe phone calls.

Of course there are some real tools in the world who get off on others distress...just saying don't automatically ASSUME because of what u read here it is bad. In the lady above's case she wouldnt be able to talk to her husband overseas...

If it is a prank...HANG UP...its that easy or like me who didnt know...listen to vm...if they want to contact u bad enough...they will leave one...

This number calls all hours of the day.
