This is a self-professed faith-based organization that supposedly helps the homeless.  They used to harass me in the past with their incessant phone calls to the point where I finally e-mailed their director and asked them to stop calling. The calls did.  Apparently, Nspire has now deemed that enough time has passed to stop annoying me because the calls are starting up again.  A young man I know once worked for them.  He was let go after bringing a sexual harassment incident up to the director.   I hardly call this a Christian way of handling the incident.  And, what did it teach the young man?  Certainly not to trust adults.

Phone scam. They do not abide by the "DO NOT CALL" List.

You obviously work for the scam callers, I wish our number could be removed, have asked and asked, now we just report it as the scam it is.  Calling here at 9pm at night is not the way to win friends pal.

Hey Gregg, find another way besides calling here at 9pm, borderline breaking the law there pal.  I think I'll call your 'personal' cell tomorrow, any bets on it not being legit.  I hate scammers, I hate telemarketers, lay off the calls.

If you get a call from this telemarketer, please file a complaint with the FCC and FTC: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. If they receive enough complaints, they'll investigate. In addition, they send information on how to file a lawsuit. Information on their website says they have shut down five of these scams.

all homeless people are not bums or drink or do drugs..in these times people who are out of work and cant find it,people are losing there homes..find a real charity and help them but dont dismiss all homeless people as the dreggs of society..have a heart and truly look at the world around you.you must be a person of means and have never gone hungry or without medication and have never wanted for anything..have a heart?i am not sure but i hope u have a wake up call someday..and whoever keeps calling me plz stop..

I'd sure like to find out how to be removed from Nspires telemarketing schedule.  Maybe you could update and tell us how to do that?  You could consider it a public service.

Doug, Unfortunately there are caller ID detectors in the market already. However, the caller ID data is sent by the phone company after the first ring in the dead space before the second ring. I'm not sure the format but suspect it is the signalling tones (DTMF with ABCD included). Regards.

Okay, Robbie, once was enough. Actually, zero times would be enough. Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page. Your callers cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. You will not get compliance with your orders until, if possible, you deliver them *directly* to your caller.

Look around at the other comments. Unlike you, those people understand how to use this site. A sham outfit like this NSpire will never stop calling unless you make the problem theirs to solve either quietly or in front of a judge. A "knock it off" notice sent via USPS Certified with return card could do wonders.

I get almost daily calls from nspire.  I never answer my phone, until I see who is calling.  They have never left a message.  I say, if they don't leave a message, I sure as hell don't want to talk to them.  I'm tired of these calls!

I donated to this organisation a few weeks ago. I filled out the card for tax deduction. Since then,these people have called me constantly. I left a voicemail kindly requesting that they take me off of their list, but since then they have called me every single day. They don't answer when I say hello, and now they've started hanging up the second I answer. Please, do NOT donate to this group of scammers! I am blocking their number and will never, ever donate to this ring of scam artists ever again. Disgusting.

You know -- the Do Not Call business really isn't something the government needs to be doing.  Get a phone that can block calls or better yet, add a device to your phone that does that (holds more numbers).  It takes a few minutes of your time, true, but it's worth it!

Its an automatic dialer, meaning it dials automatically until it gets through. Just pick up and tell the person you have no donations. Why would you blog about a phone call? It would be easier to just be a grown up a out it.

We  gave some clothes about 10 years ago to this group they then started calling about every 2 weeks asking for more we kept saying we had nothing at this time they have called every 2 weeks sense the first call even though we have not answered the calls and I have email their CEO and asked to be taken off their call list which hasn't helped and their sister group has called about as long Hope House which we have never talked to. I do not trust this group because if you ask not to be called and they continue that tells me they are not trustworthy.

Whether or not your charity is "legitimate" (and there is no way anyone on this site could know that) -- is irrelevant.  

NSpire (and your alter-ego "Hope House") are misusing people's private phone numbers to harass them.  

I pay to have my phone number unlisted and am on the "Do Not Call" list -- which indicates I do not wish to be harassed on the phone by any type of solicitore.

But somehow, my phone number still shows up on the internet, and in telemarketers/charity databases.  And because of the illegitimate loop hole that Charities have forced into the "Do Not Call" list regulation (effectively making it meaningless) I still get huge numbers of calls from telemarketers and charities.

NSpire/Hope House was truly a legitimate and ethical business it would not constantly be harassing the public.  You invade my privacy multiple times a week for years with your harassing calls.  And you are not smart enough to realize that this is just bad business practice.  

My church supports Hope House because my pastor has been fooled into thinking its a good charity.  But I could never support any business/charity that harasses people so much over the phone.

I suspect NSpire/HH contracts out to a third party to make these harassing calls.  But that is still bad business practice as it makes your business look bad and turns people away who might normally support your charity work.
