Received a call last month. A woman said she is calling from Mann Bracken Attorneys at Law, and asked to speak to me. I asked her what the call is in reference to, and she said she first needs to ask me a few questions. I refused to answer any questions before she explains the reason for the call. and now they are calling me non-stop.

Called at 8:48 PM on a Thursday evening. Usually much too late for any call but emergency. Didn't answer. Looked up on google.com and it led me to this page.

Received on several occasions from phone number 678-801-2399.  No message, just call.  a couple of time I answered and caller said "I see that you are a credit card holder with Capital One..", then I hang up.  They call right back and I don't answer.  Why are they calling my phone?????

I have received countless calls from this number, at all hours of the day and night. They never leave a message, just a long silence on my voicemail.

Same thing. I either get a message about a Law Firm or just a very long silence on my machine. All they want to do is get you upset so I just don't answer.

This company calls a minimum of 5 or 6 times per day, each time a different person, sometimes leaving a message and other times they just hang up. The few times I have picked up my phone they are very evasive as to the reason for their call, and ask a lot of questions.

received a call from 678-801-2399 at 7:45 this morning July 4, 2007. Caller started to ask a load of questions.They did not give me a chance to ask them what they are calling about, so I hung up the phone.

Received a call this morning from Mann-Bracken.  Asked me to verify information for them and, they would not identify the reason for the call.  Told me to look them up and then give them a call back.

Received a call from 678 801-2399 also.  They left a call back number of 678 801-2543, they asked for my daughter, but would not reveal any information to me.  They called before 9 a.m. in the morning.

Received a call from 678-801-2399. They said they were from the Atlanta District Atty office and wanted address and last for digits of social security number. Told them no way and they said they were looking for my son, gave my first name and a different middle initial. There's no such person. I told them 'nice try' and hung up. Sounds like a potential scam.

Received call from this number.  3rd time today.
I refuse to answer or call back!

These are calls from an agressive, borderline abusive collection agency/law firm. They are hounding you because they are trying to collect a debt you owe or else they think you can help them locate someone they are trying to collect a debt from.  They will file lawsuits against the parties they are trying to collect from -- if you owe a debt they are trying to collect, you need to hire a lawyer right away. This number just called our offfice looking for an ex employee--verrry rude.

Dan Davis from Mann Bracken called the President of my company and left a message that he needed to speak to me asap and it was a Federal issue.  He never validated the debt with me and continues to call my work everyday a couple of times a day and he's very rude to my co-workers.

My boyfriend received a similar call from Mann-Bracken's as some people here have posted.  If you haven't done so already, please send the same information to either the Federal Trade Commission and/or National Do Not Call Registry and report the abuse.  We just did!

Call from 616-980-2650, lady was rude with message. Told me I have 48 hours to call and avoid federal charges. Did not call back

messages left on machine, women calling is rude , Spanish speaking and hard to understand. Looked up this number and found it belongs to Mann Bracken LLC. Did not call back

Got a call this morning from Mann Bracken as well.  She wanted to verify my mailing address before speaking to me about some issue.  I kept asking if she had the right person, and she would just tell me that she couldn't verify that until I gave her my address.  I told her that I wouldn't give her any info until she told me what she was calling for.  I even asked her if she was sure she had the right person and then she asked if my middle name started with an A, and I told her she had the wrong person.  She was nice, but I wasn't giving up anything until I found out what a law office in Atlanta would need to speak to speak to me about.
