I'm getting the call too, they leave a message that this is a bussiness call... I never return the call. I do not have a outstanding bill.

I will just blast a whistle blow over the phone to anyone that is rude...

They never call back... I have to make sure that I do not blast the receiver of the phone... Dont want to blow out an ear drum...

But I could blast a whistle, holding the phone far away from the whistle.

After receiving MANY calls from this number on my caller id, I answered and was transferred to a "live" person.  This woman, we'll call her "[***]", proceeded to tell me that I have a medical amount due to their collection agency.  Because I'd never seen this website before, I didn't know about their practices or anything and I started to explain to her that this billing was in error and why. "[***]" proceeded to tell me I was a liar and was trying to get out of paying a debt.  After listening to her belittle everything I said for a couple of minutes, I started to respond to her in the same manner she was with me.  This is absolutely the FIRST time I've EVER actually lost my entire temper with anyone (telemarketer, collection agency, etc) on the phone.  When these other people state that the company is rude is a very, very large understatement.  I am going to do my best to turn them in to whatever agency I can find and either put them out of business or have a huge negative mark added onto their company for their unprofessional-ism.  You should do the same!  Good luck.

They have called my CELL PHONE numerous times and finally left a message but did not leave a company name or anything about what the "important matter" is. I don't call or talk to anyone who won't tell me their business. People have said this is a collection agency... to my knowledge i don't owe anyone anything!

Recorded calls come in from 678-250-7152 stating we need to call Angie at 678-969-7840 for an urgent matter.  This number is a pool of people that randomly answer the phone, claiming to be Patient Services when questioned.  They also claim to only have our business number because an employee of ours gave it to them as a work phone.  I might have bought that if they didn't call all three of our business lines simultaneously.  Our employees only know one of our phone numbers.  A supervisor named Hunter Baily stated he would remove all of our business numbers from their list, but we received more calls a few hours later.  These calls come in several times a day and it is HARRASSMENT!

A recording mumbles something about a personal business matter says to push some sort of button on phone to talk to a representative, don't understand which number.  Then says this is Angie and call her back.  I get a call everyday and if I am not home it fills up my answering machine so nobody else can leave a message.  If I ever get a chance to talk to a real person, there will be a few choice words, since all my bills have been paid.

They have been calling my number for over six months. It started with a call every three weeks.  Last week, while I was out of the country they left over 40 voicemail messages asking me to call them.
Yesterday I called to inform them that I was not the person they were seeking. They were very rude and hung up on me.
Today I received three more 'call us back' message calls.
I called them this afternoon and was informed that today was the first time they had ever heard back from someone at this number.
Where is the protection for the consumer???

I have had this cell number for over 17 months...they are trying to call the old owner of the cell number.

What can be done to stop this abuse???

I suspected automatically that this was a suspicious call, mostly because it is Unnamed and the first thing they said is, "This is not a sales call." And then refused to say anything else. I didn't call back and though I know my phone is about to get blown up, I will not call back. I am put on a list for collection for unpaid hospital bills, but based on what I was put in the hospital for [more or less stress] I find it extremely laughable that the hospital thinks it makes sense to do this to me.

Money can make monsters out of a lot of people. I'm glad I decided to research this number before I called back.

    they have a contact e-mail.
Safer to get you phone provider to email them and request a Do Not Call for them and ALL affiliated business.

If use this email, put in xxx' and their email address, and phone number to not call, then send a few emails to make sure they got it.

I also received a very threatening and unprofessional phone call from a man who refused to identify himself. Now I have received a letter with the same tone. This is over $28. I have insurance and have referred them to file the claim with my insurance. The man on the phone said, "I don't know why you just can't pay the $28" and promptly hung up in my face. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I just received a call from this number.  I didn't recognize the number, but answered and a human female was on the line.  She asked for me and I asked who was calling as the number was all that was showing.  She said "Ms. Jeffries from Patient Accounts Bureau" and I told her that I was unable to take her call and would have to call her back.  She said okay - which I was super surprised at - and I hung up.  If this number calls me back, I will not answer the phone, I will choose "ignore".  This is my cell phone - my only phone number - and I don't want to be bombarded with calls from these people.  I've printed the contact information you folks have provided and will be sending them a certified "cease and desist" order prohibiting them from contacting me and threatening them with legal action if they persist.  Thanks to those who have given me the information. I didn't want to talk to this woman before I knew who I was dealing with.

I noted that the number called was my cell phone.  Now that I know the number is in the hands of a "collection agency", I'm inclined to change it, but I hate doing that because of all the trouble that entails - changing it with all my family and friends and with some companies who need it.  I've been through that twice before - I began getting harrassing phone calls and was forced to change the number, so I would prefer to not have to go through that again.  I rather reluctantly gave the cell phone number to my doctor's offices - I didn't want to because they put it in a central database where anyone in the facility can access it.  I tried to get them to keep the number in my patient file only, but they wouldn't do that.  So - how do I stop them from giving the number to these types of people and stop the calls short of changing my number again?  I certainly don't want to be called at work.

I had the same thing happen years ago and what saved me was conscientous record keeping.  They lied to me and said that I had a check returned, which never happened.  When I called them on it, they got really defensive.  They did finally stop calling but they were hell-bent on getting about $100 from me that I DID NOT owe.  I think they are just crooks that hope people will pay without doing their homework.

Recorded Messages left on my phone every day from this number. They never say who they are or what they want. I do not owe anyone anything.  I am sick of coming home to these constant messages.  I am so glad that you all have posted this information so that I am not taken advantage of or spoken to in a rude manner.
