- WGASWell they continue to changed their #. Now it's 678.763.9922. Have filed several complaints with the DNC list, but to no avail. They continue to call my cell phone, so I just have to ignore it. Don't owe anyone, have no outstanding debt, my AMX is paid off every month. So why the hell do they continue to call? Guess obama had added these guys to the "jobs" data!!

- AggravatedMy Mother has been getting these calls also. They ask to speak to my father. When my mom ask what they wanted they ask who she was, she said "I am not going to tell you who I am or give you any information until you tell me what this is about". Then the guy hung up. But they have been calling and leaving messages on her machine too.

- lolaWhy call twice a day??!! If this is a collection service, why not contact through the mail letting us know what is outstanding. We pay all of our bills and have outstanding insurance, but in the past we once or twice had a collection service annoy us with calls when we were still waiting for our insurance to pay! Sometimes insurance is slow and that is no reason to harrass people by phone, especially when a bill is only 2 months old!

- Brandy replies to BSPhoneCalls| 4 repliesPatients Account Bureau also calls me, only they do have the right person. They called me back in January last year and informed me that I have old hospital bills total of 14000 dollars, which I agree that they are right. YET, the business wanted the funds immediately in full...Yeah Right! Let alone we in a recession!!! I explained to them that I was a young single mom that could barely pay the house bills and asked were there any other options. Since it was tax time they told me that I could put up a lump sum of 500 and then pay 25.00 per month. After I put up the 500 dollars, every 25.00 money order I sent them came right back to me in the mail and they have no recollection of telling me that I could even send the 25.00 dollars a month. My guess is they just agreed to whatever so that they could get my 500 and then did not notate the account of that agreeement. So here I am trying to do all I can to take care of this the best way I can ( unlike some people who don't pay or just avoid them all together) and for them it just aint good enough. They lie and each representative you talk to says something different. They don't record conversations and they don't notate their accounts. If you ask to speak to the head boss they switch you back and forth between representatives that pretend to be the supervisor but again they are lying. My guess is the head boss is a JERK as well. I'm calling the Better Business Bureau TODAY! They ain't gonna worry me. I've got to move on with my life! LOL

- HectorThis call has nothing to do with debt collection. This company is paid to burn up your cell phone usage - good scam, though - how much they get? 0.01 / minute? They burned 45 minutes off my plan and I never answered.
- celling3| 1 replyWe just set up our phone number(we just moved) and not two days after we got the phone number activated, we received a phone call form this number saying that it was a debt collection agency. No one has our phone number yet, and we are 100% caught up on our monthly bills. This is either a scam or a very poorly run debt collection agency who has the wrong number

- not Michael replies to celling3There is no such thing as a "new" phone number. The debt collection agency was looking for the people who had that number before you got it.
- D.D. Bern replies to Brandy| 1 replyThey have called me before...The bill that I owe, I pay 25.00...a month...however ...I send it the people that I owe it to, never to the collection . I refuse to pay them for harassing me...if they can not provide me with the service, the date and who I owe, if they do provide this info I send it to the company I owe...
- Warren678-969-7840, is a debt collector for medical bills. to end calls, simply call the number back blocking your number and tell them that the person they're seeking is no longer at this number. They will have to by law remove the number from the call list.

- JI just received a call from this number while at work. I answered the phone, and it was the loudest, worst attempt at threatening call you could receive. The man on the message was essentially yelling, "You owe a debt! This is an attempt to collect that debt!"
I was sure I didn't owe anyone, and when I saw that it was for a medical bill I laughed and realized that it must be ANOTHER call that wasn't meant for me (I just purchased my new cell phone in March and have received NOTHING but telemarketing calls and bill collection calls ever since).
The thing about the call that irritated me was the fact that soon as you answer (I only answered while at work because the number was local for me, and I thought that maybe one of my children were sick at school), this message just BLASTS in your ear! My boss was right beside me when I answered, and she was able to hear the message and probably assumed I owed something. You then have to call THEM back and waste YOUR time for something that isn't even meant for you to begin with. I'm not calling them back, I have their number saved in my phone now, and I sure hope a live person calls me back so I can have some fun myself ;)- Caller: 678-969-7840

- OhnothingYep. Calling me, too. Nothing in the mail. When (and if) they ever decide to furnish written proof that I owe whatever it is they claim I owe, we'll talk. Until then they are wasting their time.

- Fran Garrett| 1 replyI have received numerous calls from this number and have told them many times that I am not the person from whom they are trying to collect. In the first place, I live in Kansas and have never had a radiology bill or any other kind of medical bills in Georgia. I just refuse to answer the phone anymore when that number shows up.
Reply to Tray: I would like to give them your number and let them harrass you about a bill that you don't owe and see if it would change your attitude. - Alfalfa replies to Fran GarrettFran--
They are violating the DNC laws by continuing to harass a non-debtor. A legal precedent was set a couple of years ago when a consumer successfully sued NCO Financial for violations of the TCPA and FDCPA laws because they refused to stop calling him even after he told them they had the wrong person. NCO's attorneys defense that the TCPA (DNC) laws did not apply to debt collectors went over
like a lead balloon. If I were you, I would send HCA a letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested informing them that you intend to sue them for TCPA and FDCPA violations if the calls do not stop. - AlfalfaYou can also report them to the Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs, using this expedited link:
http://www.georgia.gov/vgn/images/portal/cit_ ... mplaintform.pdf - credit manager replies to Brandy| 1 replyI've been a credit manager for accounts receivable for over 15 years now. Most debts are forwarded to a collection agency to see if they can collect the money owed once the companies exaust their collection efforts. Most people pay out of good faith, most of the time. However, most poeple do not know that if a person is attempting to pay the debt off i.e. $25.00 a month or what ever he or she can pay, the collection agency CAN NOT CALL YOU ANYMORE. Even if a person only pays/paid $5.00 per month, it is a good faith effort to pay a debt. Look up the collection laws. Send only what one can afford to pay. The collection agencies can not touch you even if one only pays $5.00 per month... That will be fifty dollars!!! lol
Just kidding, my advise is free!!! If the collection agency keeps calling after any kind of payment arrangements are made, THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. KEEP ALL YOUR PHONE RECORDS, WRITE IT DOWN, RECORD ALL THE CALLS, AND THEN SUIE THE H E DOUBLE LL OUT OF THEM. Then it is harassment!!! One must remember this, there must be proof of the harassment calls! Good Luck! - bac| 1 replyCalled back and told them to send me a bill. She got pissy with me and I just said give me your information and send me a bill. She said "Have a good day" and hung up. turn about it fair play

important information you must read to protect YOURSELF from illegal collectors
What does the debt collector have to tell me about the debt?
Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money.
