They call at the most inopportune times.....they don't leave a message and when you try to call them back, you get an "all circuits are busy" message.  It is either a marketing scheme or an alqueda cell working the odds to get funding.

Call from yellowbook after 9 PM to verify delivery of phone book.  Searching the web to cancel yellowbook

They called twice within the same hour on 12/10/2007, and I got a click both times (picked up on third ring).  I received a Yellow Book a few days ago.  My phone is on the do-not-call list.  Wonder if they are mining some other sort of info like how irate people will get at filling their trash with this unwanted competing book.

Got 2 calls from them today. We have not had a Yellow Book delivered in our area since last summer so don't think they are calling about that.

I received the same call on Jan 04, 08. I didn't answer and they hang up. I am also on the do not call registry.

Just bithering to call, we are on 'no-call' list, it i not the first time. They need to face a responsibility!

They called me again on 20 Jan 08.  I am on the "no call" list but since Bush has been president, is has not been inforced. Luckily I have caller ID and can avoid them. ANY unsolocited calls  are unwelcome.  I get a lot these days.  Including the "Police" and fire department asking for money. Right.

It's no excuse for them not to leave a message, instead of annoying everyone.

Called and hung up, left no message - number came up in phone log while our phone was on Do Not Disturb.  Since our phone was off, name did not come up on our Called ID.

I see some people say its a delivery of the telephone book and i just had one delivered the day I received the first call, so I guess its a recorded message that we are not waiting long enough to hear,still anoying that they call, so many times a week.

the call was to verify delivery of an Embarq Phone Book. I am not an Embarq customer nor am I in the Embarq or Sprint Phone area. I am on the Do Not Call List. I called Embarq and complained. I was transferred to another number. I told them to no longer deliver here and not to call again. I am also filling a complaint with the Do Not Call List.
