Received 17 calls from this number within the last 24 hours.... caller id reads SDDS HOLDINGS..... make it stop!

Automated call asking to press 1 if we got our new yellow pages phone book and press 3 if we did not.  I didn't do either.

They've changed their caller id.  It's now CONFIRMA. CALL.  Thinking it was spam, I didn't answer, but we did recently receive a telephone catalog.

Confirmat,call was on the caller id. Have no idea who or what. Also what good is the do not call registry.

Caller ID showed "Confirmat. Call" so I figured it was another scumbag. Answered the phone to keep him busy long enough for him to figure out he just got scammed but nobody was there and it disconnected after about 15 seconds of me saying Hello.

I just LOVE leading these scumbags on as long as possible when I have time and the feeling of gratification I enjoy when they hang up on me is almost as rewarding as them never calling me again.

Thanks to all of these complaints about a company who annoys you with a robo-caller to confirm phone book deliveries... I just went ahead and blocked this number.

Some reports link the # to SDDS, Inc.  Finding SDDS Holdings, Inc. at http://www.sddsholdings.com/delivery, it seems likely that they call to confirm recent delivery of our local phone company's printed phone directory, which we received two days prior to today's call.

This number is a legitimate caller. It is the company that delivers phone directories for Verizon (maybe for other companies too). Caller ID is "Confirmat. Call".

This is a confirmation call to ensure that people received the phone directories. Verizon now delivers a "yellow pages" business directory to all households. I received this directory last fall, followed by a confirmation call from this number.

Recently, I called Verizon to request residential phone directories for my area, which were delivered last week. Today, I received a call from this number to confirm that the directories were delivered.

The caller did not speak or leave a message when I answered. What is the point?

what's sad is that mine went straight to the garbage, who needs a phone book when you have the internet? Why such a waste...

Ok, the call is legit.  Then please leave a msg stating that a phone book was left at your home. If you didn't receive one, please call  XX number to get a new one. Have a nice day.  Good communication and phone etiquette isn't really that hard.

6: 12 PM, EDT..Caller I.D. showed: "SDDS HOLDINGS". Did not pick up and have no voice mail. The flood of "scam city" calls continues unabated!

I guess this is a delivery service out of Georgia checking to see if you got your phone book delivered.  Obviously it is just a QA control they are using to make sure that their employees are doing their jobs.  They aren't telemarketing. Just so people know .....  years ago I paid $10 to sign onto the national Do Not Call registery.  It doesn't work.  Sorry.

Neither do your lies.  The DNC was always free.  The DNC only regulates telemarketers (defined as someone trying to sell you something)  and by your very own words, this was not a call from a telemarketer so they would be exempt.  Thanks for playing though.

If you paid $10 to get on a Don Not Call registry, it certainly was a government website.  Like the old saying " a fool and their money...."

Called at 9:30 in the morning! Since I work nights it is not appreciated. At least my phone only rings once, then the blocker gets it. Caller Id of "SDDS Holdings". Whatever that is.
