This is to confirm that the person that delivered the phone books actually did deliver them.  They can hold back pay if the books are not delivered.  Sad thing of it is that the people that deliver the books get about .20 cents for each group of telephone books they leave.

They called me twice today and didn't leave me a message.

Why can't they just leave a message.  Give me a phone number where a human being picks up the phone and I'll call you back.  I guess that would make too much sense.

I have received calls from SDDS Inc. but the number that is showing up on my caller ID is 768-9415, there is no area code listed but when I look up the number on line it shows an area code of 205. Some floodlighting consulting place. But the name SDDS Inc shows as Specialty Directory Distribution Service Inc. with the number you are showing plus 678-730-0868. So I am getting a name and number that do not match each other. I am also on the Do Not Call list. It's not working Power Windows calls me every day two and three times in a row. I hung up on them and they called right back.

FYI - The reason they don't trust their delivery people is because a lot of these "delivery" people drop the books in dumpsters and try to pocket some easy money.  They are paid by the number of books that are delivered.

I got a call today too, no message, and I am not an Embark customer so they have no reason to call.  I have gotten books from three different phone companies every year for as long as I can remember, but until this year, service was only available from one company!  Wonder why phone bills are so high?  What a waste at our expense again!

Report it to the FTC on the Do Not Call page - there are a couple new questions when reporting and room for comments. I usually put something like: "The cowardly [***] haven't got the balls to leave a message - obviously there is NO need for me to contact them - or them to keep contacting me."

Calls and leaves no msg. No idea who they are. Can't be phone book replated - - I got my new phone books two weeks ago. I'm signed up with the National NO CALL registry.

I got a postcard from SDDS, INC the same day I got my new telephone book, it appears they are trying to validate whether the Telephone book actually got deliverd.  The postcard requested me to notify my PostMaster should I receive the card without an accompanying piece of mail, which in this case was the telephone book.  The calls in this message chain are probably another form for verifying delivery of the telephone book

These people don't stop calling and I have my phone set to ring only three times so I will probably never get to the phone before the computer hangs up.  They woke me several times and bekong in prison with whatever nasty stuff can happen to you and they need a bit of waterboarding at Guantanamo and then they need to be hog tied and dragged about three miles in my car before I chain saw them in half.

add to above re:16 1/2 hours ago. These people keep calling but I would not hog tie them and drag them in my car nor would I chainsaw them in half.  I have never committed a crime in my life nor have I left the state in 15 years.  This was a fantasy intended to be humorous and I apologize if it sounds threatening but they woke me up and I was really hoppin' mad.

I will let the law decide if they belong in jail or Guantanamo.

I am homebound anyway and would never go outside much less go to another state.

I deliver phone books and we get no where near 20cents, it is more like 11 cents.

This number has called my cell, several times, and my home phone several times.  One cell call registered 17 minutes and I don't recall talking to anyone.

Called while I was on the phone with someone else, call ID shows SDDS, Inc.  Had no idea who that is, looked up the company, suspected based on the company website that the call was unwanted, so I checked here and see I was right.  They did not leave a message of course.  I plan to block the number.

My call came in at noon. Caller ID was: SDDS, INC I.

I am also on do not call list. If this bothers people you need to report it to the F.C.C., they will look into it.

sdds,inc i   the number and no message. very annoying getting tired of hang ups!!! If it was to verify delivery...I would probably call them back if they weren't such a nuisance!!!

got a call from 678-992-2430 caller ID said "Confirmation Call" Confirmation call from who? This came today Wednesday 3 Sept at 7:55PM (about 16 minutes after an "unknown name" call.

I am the DO NOT CALL list. Also my number is a brand new phone # that so far only Comcast (my landline privider) should have.
