Hello all you [***] people out there!! Have you ever heard of mix up of documentation from several different companies? Is all y'all can do is complain?!?! WHY IS THAT?!?!?! WHY IS IT THAT SOMEONE IS SOoOoOoO quick to complain, and NEVER GIVE A COMPLIMENT? If you [***] would just pick of the phone and answer the question then you wouldn't be getting multiple calls... duh. Lets think people.... oh and also, they DON'T train their employees to leave messages. Even if they did... you people wouldn't listen, nor would you call back. Least we forget that the people that deliver the damn books DON'T do their job, and shouldn't be paid for the undelivered books... If they were that would mean YOU would pay MORE MONEY!!! WOW! Isn't that just damn amazing? IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST!!!! THESE PEOPLE DO NOT QUALIFY AS TELEMARKETERS SEEING HOW THEY ARE NOT SELLING ANYTHING!!! GOD AMERICA IS FILLED THE THE MOST [***] PEOPLE!!!!

It came up on my Caller ID as SDDS, Inc.  I did not receive a phone book so I don't know what it is.

1-678-992-2430.  Not sure why I stated receiving calls these past couple days.  What do they want with me?  No messages.

SDDS, Inc. called on 9/11/08 at 1:02 p.m. No message was left.

I am on the do not call list. I would like to see this caller prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

SDDS is 'special directory delivery service' and they deliver phone books in your area. They want you to advertise in their phone books.  If you want to advertise, answer the phone.

What is "Sad" about delivering phone books?  It pays pretty good and the people are ambitious and not taking welfare hand-outs!!  Nothing sad about that!!

I think he meant "sad" that they only get like 20 cents each.

I usually pay my crew between .30 and .40 cents per book/stop . . .
I understand SDDS, Inc pays alot less!

Received a call from SDDS Inc, which I did not answer.  If they are
actually checking to see if the phone book was delivered, they should
probably know that we received books two days in a row.  We now have two
as well as all our neighbors do also.

I also got a call from SDDS - they left no message.
I haven't used a paper phone book in more than 5 years. I use something called Google.
I wish these directory people would respect the DMA opt-out list at dmachoice.org so they can save some paper and stop filling landfills.
They are lying to their advertisers if they count me as having yellow pages - I recycle them immediately!

Received call. Before I could answer, voice mail picked up. Caller left no message.

The last couple of days these morons have been calling my land line. If I got a new phone book, I don't know about it, nor do I care. The damned things are useless. They're either outdated or for the wrong area.
As to the person saying that if we want them to stop calling, answer the phone... Really? Apparently you haven't been around that long because generally speaking, answering the phone does Not Deter telemarketers and their ilk, it just let's them know they've got a live one on the line.
I couldn't care less if they waste their time calling my phone... The only time I answer is when somebody I Want calling me has said they needed to talk to me on the phone. Any other time, people who want to reach me know my email addy and can reach me That way. The rest of the world can go nerf itself.

I received the call from SDDS but no message was left. It appears they are attempting to determine if I received my phone book. Yes, I did -- but since they did not leave a message or identify themselves on caller ID as Phone Book Delivery (or something like that), they will never know it. What they need to do is leave a message asking us to press #5 (for example) if we received one, or #9 if we did not. I would have verified it, had they done so. Oh well, I won't lose sleep over this one.

Caller ID name is "Confirmation Call". I did have a phone book left at my house the day prior to this call, so I think that this is a legitimate caller looking to see if the phone book was delivered. I was not in my office at the time so I didn't answer and no message was left.
