Here is a standard ND Attorney General's Office:

I am responding on behalf of the Attorney General to your email. You may be interested in reading a news release this office issued in May 2010, warning about scam telephone calls using spoofed North Dakota (701 area code) telephone numbers, at http://www.ag.nd.gov/NewsReleases/2010/05-25-10A.pdf. Since then, we have received reports from across the country of other scams using spoofed ND phone numbers.

Unfortunately, scam artists ignore state and federal laws, which is why the Do Not Call registry is not preventing these calls. I hope you find this information helpful.

So can any 1 tell me whts going on with this number...??

So any1 have some info bout this number yet..??.:)

Since February, I've received 4 calls on my cell from the following numbers, all in North Dakota (area code 701)...but different cities, according to my call log:

625-5444
920-9732
625-5758 (2x)

Since I haven't answered the calls and no message was left, I have no doubt it's a telemarketing company.

Have been receiving calls from this number for a couple of weeks. Says from Martin, ND.  I called back and pressed 1 to not stop the calls.  Hopefully it will work!

I'd like to know how these people got my cell number.  So annoying.

I've been getting calls from this number a lot in the last week as well!

Got a call on my cell phone from this #. No message left. Called it back and a recording said to press '1' to be removed from thier marketing list. Pressed 1, said it would take up to 72 hrs to be removed.

I have received 6 calls from this # in 4 days.  No messages.  Very disturbing.

received 4 calls in 1 day. i have already filed a report with the fcc. this is getting annoying.

This number has been calling me all day. I called back on my work number and received a recording that said thank you for calling back if you would like to be removed off our call list press, I think it was 1 or 2. then i called on my cell and received a busy number. Then they called back and I answered and they wanted to give me a home security system for placing a sign in my yard. I asked him to put me on the do not call list he said he would and that was it

no message left, please don't call again.

I've received many, many of these calls (701-920-9871, 701-625-5444, etc) - I've been on the DNC list; not on facebook or anthing else and still I get these ANNOYING calls that I do not answer and keep on filing the "complaint form" and yet nothing seems to be getting done.  Please do something about these annoying calls!  Please.

I called the number back and opted to be placed on the do not call list. Who ever this joker is best stop calling.
