They have been calling me several times a day while I traveled in China. Woke me up a twice in the middle of the night in 2 days. There is no way to scream at a machine.  It's very frustrating and annoying.  Any action can I take to stop this kind of telemarketing machine phone calls for good? What's the use to file a complaint if I can't get my sleep at night?  They just kept calling me!!!!!

I say we go find Steve Hamilton and stick a red hot poker up his ass!!

Got my first call from this nuisance number today; thanks for the details about its source.  I actually saved the number and named it "Annoy".  That way, if they call back, I'll know who it is and ignore it.  (I was getting multiple calls per day from a satellite TV company for a while.)

I have far more slots (250) than I actually use on my SIM card, so I save the bogus numbers and name them with labels like Tmktr, Annoy, or Bogus.  That way I don't have to remember the actual number to know the call should be ignored.  The insulting label I assigned lets me know it's a nuisance caller.

A simpler solution would be nice, but with this method, you'll know when not to answer.

Appeared to be an automated call because "Tom" asked how I was doing today and when I replied with, "Why are you calling me?" he answered, "Glad to hear that," and kept on talking. At which point I hung up.

On many phones you can also setup a call group with custom ring tone like no vibrate and volume on mute so you don't even know they called until you see the missed call list. Or set a muted ring tone on each number you don't want to answer.

I just got a call from this number. I will not call it back. Thank you for the advise. I know it's true that the computer will recognize it a s an active number if you call it back.

I always answer the phone go through the automated process of answering the questions and then getting hung up on once they realize I do not own my home.

Today I figured I would say "YES" and low and behold a human being called me back in less than a min from 334-581-1112 and said the following "Hello this is John from Maximum Security" and I say "Hi there John, I have been waiting to HEAR from you (in a very excited voice)... and all of a sudden I hear DIAL TONE! So I called the 334-581-1112 number back and Robert answers the phone..... I tell him I do not own my home and would greatly appreciate a way to remove my number fvrom the calling list..... He forwards me to the Administration Office 1-888-564-5621. I honestly thought I was just getting sent to another person who would forward me and so on......... Well he really did give me Administration Office press option #1 once you get to the automated answering prompts ~ I spoke with Carly and very simply explained that I have received numberous calls and answered that I do not own my home and would really appreciate being removed from the calling list. She said it would probalby take a week or so to get me off there, but she would call Marketing and have my number removed!

I know this may not be the end of Mr automated Maximum Security but if it works I will come back and let you know, well actually if it works I wont need to post again because there will be no reminder to do so.....

So if this works I wont post :)

I received a telemarketing call from (701) 625-5444 this afternoon just seconds after hanging up on a telemarketing call from (978) 570-2446.  The pre-recorded messages were the exact the same voice and mesage recording from both phone numbers.  I am on the Do Not Call List and have filed complaints and will continue to file complaints with the do-nothing bureaucrats subsidized by the bankrupt US Government.  Meanwhile, I plan to research the numbers to find the phone service providers, state and counties which are assigned the telephone area codes and prefixes, and the current phone service subscribers of the phone numbers.  I will send written complaints to the phone service providers, local police/sheriff, and then name all parties in a small claims court action.  They will then have to respond to me and then figure out what to do with each other.

You people are a crackup ... this number called me today, but I am just posting this to say all you people saying "I am on the Do Not Call list and have filed complaints" are a riot!

Hello, these people are using computer robo-dialers, do you think they give a rat's [***] whether you are on the Do Not Call list?!?  Maybe a few human companies heed that list and it saves you a few calls but the vast majority of these are marketing scammers who could care less whether you are on the Do Not Call list or not.

In short, we should keep posting about these numbers so that we have an accumulated "cloudsourced knowledge database" of what numbers we should ignore/block, but enough with the Do Not Call list crap ... nobody cares.  Least of all the scam callers!

This number is repeatedly calling, but does not leave a message. From reading the complaint board on the Reverse Number Lookup site it appears to be a telemarketing ploy from a company called Pacific Telcom Communications. I am on the DO NOT CALL list and am curious and agitated that I am still being harassed by these companies.

3 calls to my cell phone in 3 days--and of course it's listed with all the do not call registries.  Quite frustrating.

I have received several calls from this number on my cell phone and I have asked several times that my number be removed. I expect this to be resolved.
