received repeated calls from this numbber - 8 times a day.  When I call them back to tell them to stop, they don't answer

Yeah, well, I've reported them and guess what? I still get the calls from the same places. Verizonwireless allows you to block a certain number of these calls, but you have to keep putting the numbers back on after 6 months. Really burns me up. What's the use of having the Do Not Call list if they still call. I seldom get a full message. I get things that start like, "If you want to take advantage of this great offer press....if you want to be placed on our do not call list press..." I don't press that one anymore. I'm afraid pressing the number doesn't put me on their do not call but gives the other numbers a number to call. Why would they not tell you what they are selling before asking if you want to take advantage? Make me think it's some automated way to get personal info from the phone, my location or whatever.

Yes. I had a really bad connection and I kept hearing myself. I just let him talk for a bit. When I heard him talking about Home Security protection I told him that this number is on the governments Do Not Call list and if he calls again I will report them. The guy didn't let me get that sentence out before he hung up. If that was a legitimate business, I wouldn't want to do business with them anyway if they hang up like that and don't apologize or even bother to say goodbye.

Yep, Same number calls once a day, usualy no answer, today it was Tom trying to sell me a home protection system. I let him have it!

this number has been showing up at least once a day on my phone...twice today before noon...

Someone needs to create a program where a computer continually calls their number as to tie up all their phone lines.

This number has called my cell phone every hour for the last three hours. I'm at work and this is very frustrating.

Same thing happened here, so I answered the third one.  It was Tom from some home security system.  Hung up on him.

I have recieved 20 calls from this number this month and they have never left a message.

On the national do not call list and still these [***] keep calling and calling...

Initial call was from a machine. Questions were asking whether I would be interested in a free security system.

Probably shouldn't have, but I said yes so I could get a callback from a live person.

Received a call about 10-15 minutes later from the same number. Had to ask for his name (Cameron), and whether they had a website or direct number. They don't, of course, and when I asked how they got my number they said they had hundreds of online partners. Asked if I could be removed from the list, and was promptly disconnected.

Calling the number (which I probably shouldn't have done) was useless as "all circuits" were busy. Same old...

Go to www.ftc.gov. You need to register a complaint through the Federal Trade Commission.

Just missed a call from them, they did not leave a message. I hope they don't pester me like they have others.

I was called by this number last night and again today - anyone try to see if a call to Steve Hamilton as recommended above actually works to get these calls stopped?
 I'm on all the no-call lists I can find.

I have recieved several calls from this number over the last 2 weeks.  The voicemails left are just dead air.  I do not know anyone in North Dakota, nor do I appreciate all of the unwanted calls.

Nope, but I just called the 701 number back and it was a recording.  Supposedly you can press "1" if you don't want to receive any more of their "special promotions" calls and pressing 1 will place your number on their do not call list within 72 hours.  We shall see!!
