Got a call asking if I was in charge of my phone bill and said she needed to question a charge. I asked if it was a sales call she abruptly replied that she "would put it in the mail for me bye bye" and hung up. Very suspicious!!

I just received a call from this number, they did not respond to my answer, twice, so I hung up.  We'll see if they call again...

My husband put applications on a job site snag a job actually and 24hrs later i started getting these phone calls I never anser very annoying

1-702-260-6126  Keep getting calls from this number at my desk at work, caller will not respond, just a lengthy pause and then they keep hanging up.  First time I identified myself and my dept., second time I just identified my dept., caller just hangs up without speaking.

I've been getting calls from this # to my fax for my business. I printed out my call log and they called me 27 times in 2 days. I called the 1 800 # they gave me and told them i wanted to be taken off their call list. They were very rude and unprofessional and said they could not do that. So i demanded a supervisor and threatened harrassment charges and they took me off.  But it took about 3 days after that for them to finally stop calling.

My husband just answered a call from this number and was cursed at.  He just hung up.

1-888-225-5322 is the fcc complaint number. report 702-260-6126 for pretending to be your long distance carrier, false represention. they may be confirming valid phone numbers to sell them.
call the fcc and file a complaint.

These people have been told to quit calling my house multiple times and I am wondering if legal action is advisable.  This is harrassment.  Start documenting what time they call, the date, and as much as the conversation as you can remember.  I am ready to get law enforcement and lawyers involved.

Caller ID said Consumer Telecom.  I answered the phone with our usual business greeting.  She said "Hello, hello" like she couldn't hear me, and then hung up.

I too received a call from this number this evening at 08.07 PM with a hang up. This afternoon I had completed a survey with a fast food restaurant so I am wondering if this is why I got the call.
The number is listed as a land phone line. I have the persons name, adress, average income, home value etc. The phone company they have called from is a Central Telephone Company line out of Henderson Nevada--the county is Clark ! I am hoping they will Not call back because I will then "greet" them by their first and last name...I bet that will stop the scam. I will also notify the FTC !

Consumers Telecom.  Calls at least 3 times a day.  Last call - I answered -they asked if I speak Spanish and hung up on me.  When one calls them back -there is a recording with an 800 no.  I called and reported the multiple calls.  1-800-872-3811

woman answers i say hello a couple of times she hangs up weird.

THEY KEEP CALLING, AND CALLING, AND CALLING.  THEY MUST BE SOME REAL DUMB [***], THEY CAN'T EVEN TALK TO SCAM YOU.

Just got a call from a male identified himself with Consumer Telecom, questioned me about a charge on my phone bill, and was I the person responsible for the service. Asked him to hold and he hung up. I guess if that works, I will do it again.

Just talked to a male caller from this number, saying he was going to reduce my long-distance phone-bill because I was "low-usage".  When I asked if he was trying to switch my phone service, he said, "I don't think you're paying attention" and hung up.

Just got this call at 2:38 PM. A lady asked if I spoke spanish... i said no... she said sorry wrong number and hung up.

when u answer the phone they plant a listerner on ur phone.. pull phone from plug in, plug back in.
if cee, take battery out, put back in..

scam.. harassment...

Your advice isn't complete, when you pull the phone plug or battery you MUST be standing on your head, else it won't work.

I got the same call and i had asked if they were at&t and they said yes but they could save me $12 a month. When the lady announced that I would see a change on my bill and that it would say Tele Com, I had then asked her again if this was at&t and she hung up. I tried to call back but only answering machine picks up. Called at&t and they are a fraud company..............

The best thing to do is stop your 'call waiting' as this is just the kind of interruption you DON'T want.  I also have caller ID on my phone.  When I don't recognize the number...I DON'T ANSWER IT.  If I was to make a mistake and it was in fact someone I knew...welll, guess what...they will leave a message on my answering machine;-) and I can call them back, simple as that.  

If you want to have FUN with these calls, just check caller ID and if it's a marketing call, have your radio ready and immediately upon picking up the phone, put the phone to the radio at FULL VOLUME BLAST.  See if they call back!
I've done it, and it works, until the next marketing call from a different company! It's a great feeling of satisfaction ;-)
BTW, I did try the polite route only to have the person on the other end hang up.  So, don't get mad, get even!!
