I have recieved several calls from this number  702-260-6126. They call me and hang up. What can I do to stop this?

The best thing to do is stop your 'call waiting' as this is just the kind of interruption you DON'T want.  I also have caller ID on my phone.  When I don't recognize the number...I DON'T ANSWER IT.  If I was to make a mistake and it was in fact someone I knew...welll, guess what...they will leave a message on my answering machine;-) and I can call them back, simple as that.  

If you want to have FUN with these calls, just check caller ID and if it's a marketing call, have your radio ready and immediately upon picking up the phone, put the phone to the radio at FULL VOLUME BLAST.  See if they call back!
I've done it, and it works, until the next marketing call from a different company! It's a great feeling of satisfaction ;-)
BTW, I did try the polite route only to have the person on the other end hang up.  So, don't get mad, get even!!

Recieved call from Consumer Telcom. 702-260-6126 showed up on caller ID. Caller asked if I was the one who pays the bills. Started to tell me my telephone number. I asked what is the issue and caller hung up. Caller did not identify themselves exept to say they are calling from Consumer Telcom and she said my phone was tagged for low usage.

Tell them you use Magic Jack and they will go away. >:-)

It was a fella who called me,my number is unlisted and no long distance,He was a right arrogant son of a _itch so i hung up on him after tellen him that.But next and all of ya do this blow a damn  coaches whistle in the phone mouth piece, thats what my uncle use to do,so gonna get  one tomorrow.Another thing is search the do not call registry it works,and add ya numbers.

I have been getting many missed calls from this number  702-260-6126.  so I finally got to answer the call and there was a lady on the phone saying that she needed to talk to the person who pays the phone bill. I said that I was the one who paid the bill and she said we noticed that you dont make lots of long distance calls and we are going to reduce your phone bill by $ 10 bucks a month. But that didnt make any sense b/c I dont have the local carrier of phone service. so when I asked her who she was and where she worked and how she thought she could save me money she hung up the phone on me! So I go online and google the number and realize that this is a scam and I will NOT be answering any calls from this number again!

I keep receiving calls from this number at my workplace with no answer or avail as this number has come up at least five times that last 24 hrs. I'm trying to focus on the job at hand and instead have to put up with this nonsense. This is terrible.

I have had many calls from this number. Usually I don't pick up, and they never leave a message. I accidentally picked up today and the woman identified herself as Mary from Consumer Telecom. She asked if I was responsible for the bill. I said yes. Then she asked if I make a lot of long-distance calls from this number. When I hesitated and sort of stuttered, she repeated the question and DEMANDED "Yes or no!?" I said, "who are you?" She said, "I already told you.I'm Mary from Consumer Tel Com, and we handle your long distance" I asked, "Why are you so angry, and where is Sprint?" and she hung up.

This number called my office phone. The woman stated that she was calling from the phone company regarding some long distant charges on my phone. She wanted to talk with the person that is responsible for the bill. I asked her "WHAT PHONE" - she was like the phone that I called. I told her that it was an office phone and I was in an office. She hung up.

I just a phone call today from this number and same thing.  When I told him I didn't have long distance he hung up on me too.

This is the fifth time theyve called me since yesterday. I keep ignoring the call but its getting really annoying. How do you stop these calls?

Caller ID Customer Telecon

Just had a call from a man who did not identify himself, simply stating there was a problem with the long distance portion of my phone bill and asking if I were the one responsible for paying the bill.   When I asked to  whom he wished to speak he suddenly hung up.

Receiving repeated calls from this number. When I answered I was asked if I was the person who handles the phone bill, and was told it was about a disputed charge, but the phone call then disconnected. We have phone service through Verizon FIOS as a bundle. Thought it was odd to be receiving this call.

Called my office number, dead air, then confused woman, she hung up.

4 calls in the space of 20 minutes.i never answer.the more they call the more it costs them.

This person called our office 2-3 times a day. I'd answer, they'd hang up. This time I just answered and said "Can I help you?" A woman said "Is this a business?"  I told her it was. She said "Wrong number." and hung up.

I''m assuming this is some kind scammer.

I am receiving the call from this number (+17022606126) every alternate day in the midnight in India for the last one month. Alerting all of you not to call back or provide any personal information.

Called but hung up before I answered.

I just got this number from a Scamer on Craigslist. Its a Nanny/babysitter position ..  They want to send me a check to secure the position with me. ha ha ha,,,,do I have sucker on my forehead, wait let me go look in the mirror,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Nope,,,,there's no sucker wrote across my forehead.  This is not the first scam I have run across,,,its usually for a caregiver position, they always want you to help them by sending money to a shipper or buy a 3500.00 wheelchair, its always something.  They are so elaborate with their e-mail, so many details.  They think we are stupid.  Who in their right mind would send someone 500.00 to secure a position?  Idiot people are ruining craigslist for all that use it for many resources...I hate them all and wish terrible things on them.
