Wow for a whole week I've been having this number show up on my caller ID and it had be thinking did I forget to pay a bill or do I owe money to some one . Now today as I sit here trying to watch Coraline they've   already called me 7 times  in the past 30 minutes this is crazy. I'm about to go off on these  people.

Just got a call from a man who asked if I was in charge of the phone bill. When I told him, yes, he proceeded to tell me that he could lower my phone bill by $10.00. When I asked him how he got that info and if he was from Verizon, he hung up.

Just left a message with you, but thought I would tell everyone that I just called Consumer Telcom, and of course, all I got was a recorded message. What a surprise.

Receive a call from this number about once a month and it hangs up.

I got a call from this number a few minutes ago. I picked up the phone and said Hello? Someone starts talking in Spanish...Very fast...I said "What the hell." The reply I got was in English, "Wrong number." I did call the number back they wanted me to call a 1-800 number and find out how to lower my long distance. There was no way to ask them to remove my phone number. I am so sick of telemarketeers. I am disabled and my phone is for my personal use not theirs.

The company is Consumer Telcom, based in Henderson, Nevada. They are a long distance service provider with a questionable history. Arkansas' Attorney General, Dustin McDaniel sued them last year (2010) alleging deceptive practices towards Arkansas residents by continuing to charge them after customers cancelled service. BEWARE of their website also; they try to tag on spyware software if you enter their site. Norton Security Software warns you against the spyware attempt.

Just got a call from this number...when i answered they hung up...when i called back...no answer

I got a call from this number in Spanish.  I didn't understand what they said so I said "see" and they hanged up.  the caller ID said they are from Consumer Telecom.

It's a scam. They call letting you know that your long distance charges can be dropped $10 a month. All you have to do is give the OK to make the changes. What they are doing is getting you to agree to let them handle your long distance calls and pay them. The issue is that they are targeting people with digital voice like Comcast, Charer. etc.. where you already have unlimited long distance included. So even at their low rate of $2.95 per month they are making money by charging you for something you already have. This company needs to be investigated for fraudelent and misleading business practices.

Just got a call, left no message.  Yet another telemarketer that I will be adding to my blocked list. ugh.

female from this number left a message on voice mail stating she was doing research for future censuses. Left a call back number. Interestingly next day got a call from ORC MACRO INTER nbr 802-264-3793 from a male asking same thing! he insisted on speaking to oldest person in house.

I got a tel. call from this tel. number over & over.  I actually hollered at them to stop calling this number and they left me a rude message.  the tel. # 702-260-1319 - Said I had alot of charges but no clue for what!  IDIOT!!

I called them back and spoke with a man named George Cruz at 800-872-3811, extension 7423. He is a supervisor and was polite and confirmed they are trying to sell long distance service (rates suck though). He placed all of my numbers on their do not call list.

This is a garbage phone company soliciting business.  The number to call and tell them to remove you from their calling list is (800) 872-3811.  This is the sales number but you can instruct them to remove you from their calling list and they will take care of it.

I was called and told that I was not using my long distance and would be given a $10 credit, I asked who this was and what this was about. And the guy said what you dont think that you will be charged for long distance. And I said to him I have no idea what he is talking about. Then he said fine, you won't get a ten dollar credit on your bill and hung up on me. So I called my phone company and they said they have nothing to do with consumer telcom. I don't want that company ever calling me again. The guy yelled at me from that company and I still have no idea what he wanted.
