I received a call from the same company 2 months ago.  Im sorry everyone but i did sign on for $365.00 for my listing plus they also gave me a banner on the main county page at no cost.   I have been up on the site for almost 4 weeks (it took almost 4 weeks for them to complete my ad) I have obtained 2 new customers that idenified themselves from unions and requested their discount as was offerred in my ad.   So far so good for me.

Also got a call from "Mike Ford" as a rep for the Colorado union looking for referrals for military union members. Didn't call him back as I had a weird feeling listening to his voicemail. Also the V.A. wouldOre likely be in charge of this. Looks like he might have changed the name but sounds exactly the same as what other people have listed. Just as a heads up if anyone gets a call from him. Here is the number I had: 720-330-3936. Also said I was "referred" to him but he clearly got my name from an online directory as I got an email confirmation that said so. Obviously some kind of scam. Stay away!

Hi Tim. I will assume that you're the same Tim Patrick who claimed to be the tech guy who sold me on advertising on UnionInfoCenter.net through your company, Imagewrite Corp. I paid $365 for a 2 year contract. If you are that same Tim Patrick who worked in cohoots with Kay Barrett, you got me, for now. God Save You.  If you are not that Tim Patrick, then you truly are an insensitive prick. In that case, God Save You also. FYI, it is now only a matter of time when Imagewrite Corp. and it's scammers will get your comeuppance.

For everyone, else; other than Tim Patrick. I forgot to mention that a few weeks later, I was fortunate enough to have my bank (Chase) warn me of several overseas purchases that they declined where someone used my credit card. I believe that is what this scam is all about.

So glad I found all of you. I just got a call from a similar Nevada number-702 330-4544-- a man claiming to be a Union Liaison with the State of California looking for "quality marriage and family therapists." First of all, calling from a call center and speaking loudly about seeking therapy isn't really how I'm used to receiving inquiries... the callback number is 877-970-1010 ext. 747.

He found me through my Psychology Today profile (that's how the call came in).

psychotherapist in CO.  Ted Rice called (from Vegas) and explained the 365$ for two years to be listed.

I told him it sounded good and I'd like to speak with the existing advertisers to see how it's working for them.

He said "It doesn't work that way, we'll find somebody else to fill your spot."   Personally I think it's OK for me to call and see how their service works for advertisers and I was frankly surprised that he told me "it doesn't work that way."

high pressure sales, and not very good at it.

I received a phone call from their people except it was 702 303-3936.  This turned out to be a premium service as they wanted $525 from me plus the price of helping me to construct the ad and a host monthly fee.  They were a little slicker as there was no sounds of a call center in the background.  Mr. Foster also wanted me to restrict myself to the pages he wanted me to see.  I'm a little insulted as these people have gone to no real effort to make a decent web site.  They could have put more businesses on it as none will complain if you list their business on your website.  You just have to look at the website to see how flimsy it is.

I got the same call and he said he is from NY- seems he gets around  (to all states). I'm a NY'er so I'm naturally a bit suspicios of something that sounds too easy!

I got a call from "Jill Cosgrove," who claimed to be the "Union Liaison for the State of California," and her phone number was 702-330-4463. She said that she wanted to "direct and refer all rank and file union members as well as military personnel" to me (i'm an attorney) because I "came highly recommended." Thank you all for posting to this website. Obviously, "Jill Cosgrove" has no clue who she's messing with.

Got a call from Catherine (Katherine) Webb. I spelled it both ways in case anyone tries to do a search. Number was 702-330-5153. She totally sounded like she was reading a prompt and just filling in the appropriate info (ie., looking for a quality therapist). She found my info online and that's what they probably do with others.

Very persistent telemarketer left multiple messages on my phone, not around when I called back. Number used 702-997-6607 but wanted me to return the call at 877-970-1010 x746. She gave the phone to a high pressure salesman who got very huffy when I explained that most phone calls soliciting advertising are scams. First acted like it would be a free service to union members and miliary, then claimed that it cost only $10 a month, but then added it had to be $240 for two years. Said I had been recommended by a union member. Terrible website. Doesn't even backlink to their home page.

Got the same basic call  - Ohio Union liaison looking for therapist in Cincinnati to refer union employees to - he left me a voice mail.  The caller used the name Ray Morris from a phone number 702-330-4704.  Asked me to return a call to 877-970-1010. I'm not return this call based on the feedback others have left here.

Just picked up two vm messages that were left just minutes apart. The first was from "Michael Herndon" at 702-330-8868 who claimed that he was a union liaison for the State of Illinois and that he was looking for quality attorneys to whom he could refer their "rank and file union members." Herndon wanted me to return his call at 877-970-1010. The second call was from "Joshua Kayner" at 702-330-5153 who claimed that he, too, was a union liaison for the State of Illinois and was looking for attorneys in my area to whom he could refer "rank and file union members" who needed criminal defense attorneys. I didn't recognize the area code so I googled it. When I saw it was a Las Vegas area number I got suspicious and found this site.  I will not be calling them back.

Ok folks, one look on the internet and it tells the story.  For $95 you can incorporate in LV and set up shop.  A  P.O. box really? and BBB says the numbers have all been disconnected.   They do have a website yes and you could probably get a banner
up, but who are the members and honestly why would they call unless you are offering a great discount.  The part of the website where you go to your state or county to find providers has no providers listed in most every area I checked.

The dishonesty in sales is a problem and one person got some fraud activity on their credit card after signing up so this is
suspect.  If in fact there is some legitimicy with this company and members actually use the services, they have a lot or work
to do to clean up their act

I'm totally embarrassed to say that 3 years ago I actually made the mistake of succumbing to the high-pressure sale! To make a very long story very short, I spoke to several people there who claimed to be increasing levels of "supervisor" and "manager" trying to get answers about click-through rates, traffic, etc., and no one could answer me. Unfortunately, I didn't really press for this info until after I had paid (I forget the amount...$300-400?). The final chapter was when I was given the phone number for someone who was supposedly the VP of Marketing or something, and it was a cell phone of a guy who answered "hello" of as if he were in the store instead of a legitimate business person at a desk, and when he got increasingly hostile with me as I asked questions (and I DO mean hostile, insulting, condescending), I simply threatened a chargeback on my credit card. THIS scared them. Can you believe that? And I was refunded in full within 48 hours. Over the past 3 years I have received calls from this company at least 5 more times. I have asked to have my number removed from their call list, I have blocked each number that comes through, yet today I got ANOTHER call. Under NO circumstances should you deal with them. I knew better, I know better, and so should you.

Sadly, my employer (also a real estate brokerage) is already on the hook from these guys.  To the tune of how much, I don't know.  I had a call last week passed along to me from our reception stating the caller was requesting an ad of ours be taken down, that wasn't the case here.  An extremely rude and angry man by the name of Sam Curby was on the other line. He was irritated by the confusion in the miscommunication from our switchboard operators and having been passed around to several different people in the company before he got to me.  I finally track down the people on our staff involved with this and the first time I saw the extremely poorly designed site, and this Sam Curby fellow took us to our ad on a rather deeply-nested portion of their horribly busy site, I was immediately redirected from the original URL he told me to enter, uniontoday.org which redirected to unioninfocenter.net.  All of this threw up a major red-flag for me, having encountered similar fishy sales pitches for "local" directories and sites that promised huge advertisement benefits for a small investment.

I did a whois search on the domains involved and discovered the registered owner being Jack Binen.  A search for that name in Google revealed my suspicions about this less-than-reputable company.  While their sales tactics are certainly shady to say the least, unfortunately it doesn't seem like they are doing anything illegal.  They seem to be praying on people who don't have enough sense to research what they are being sold.  Unfortunately the company I work for has already fallen victim, it seems. I've made my opinion know to my bosses about this and they thankfully aren't going forward with this $365 "exclusive ad".

Got a call from Imagewrite just now. 702-330-5406. The lady said she represented "unions" and asked if we are taking on any new clients. I was confused and told her that we don't even have any employees here. She said that her clients are looking to come in here for personal wellness (we are a massage business). I was still confused about what she was trying to sell so I asked her to explain herself more. This made her angry. "You're not even listening to me!" she said, "If you can't listen to me then you are not going to listen to my clients, have a good day..." Then she hung up. Good riddance. Then I go on here and find out its all a scam...
