I’m curious to know why this so-called ex employee is hiding his or her name? Is it possible that he-she was fired, is trying to achieve “pay back”, and is afraid of being sued for libel? Sounds likely to me.

I got a call from an "Oscar" who stated he was from Union Liason California, Im in Texas, looking for a couples therapist and stating that someone recommended me.  # 619- 780 - 3474

Oscar called from Union Liaison giving me the same story: I was referred by a union member and he wants to give us leads only if I'm looking for new clients. He could not tell me who referred me, said it was against protocol. I told him I was not interested in paying for any advertising or leads. He said there was no fees associated. He wanted 20 minutes of my time to show me through a web site. I am busy, so told him I would look up the company and if i was interested ,I'd call him back. I looked up the phone number and found a different site (like this one) where the stories were the same, but at the end of 20 minutes they were told that is was $525 for being listed on their site. Oscar called me back and I told him I was not interested in paying $525, and to have a good day. He seemed confused and said that there are no fees...blah blah blah. I said I looked up his number and came across other stories of how the call goes. And at the end of 20 minutes he was going to tell me it was $525 for the listing. And I am not interested.

I’m an Illinois Realtor that received a text for referrals of buyers and sellers that are Union members , state of California liaison . My husband is a union man and I was suspicious but thought maybe it came in through my LinkedIn account. Glad I researched here . I was scammed this way by an anti bullying campaign a couple years ago that was suppose to be in contact with our local high school district. (Same drill as I see here in remarks . ) After researching with local educators it was indeed a scam that could have cost me $550.00 It was only after threatening the states attorneys office that resulted in my refund after 4 weeks. Beware of texts ! New tactic !

I just got a similar call this afternoon from Nevada I'm a massage therapist in California. I don't know how some Union liaison got my number but I've had people try to scam me before. So I'm very suspicious.

I received a call from 2 ladies  (Candy and Vicky) that said that she can ad my travel company for $499 for 3 years in the union government military site.  They were very excited to add my company and maybe too fast since they'd have me pay right away. After reading those reviews my suspicions of a scam were right.

Same message here! Oscar gave me his spiel, but it screamed salesperson, so I didn't provide any information, but I am grateful to find information before we set anything up.

Same story here. He offered to send us (I work in the insurance industry) their members....
