- MirandaA lady named Ebony calls our office one at a time and asks for each of our agents. Call, after call, after call. Four calls today. Ridiculous. 702-330-5153
- tom8/20/2015 received a call from 702-330-4958. claiming to be Union World News, also saying they are not selling ads, not asking for referral fees...etc. but asks for $349 for 2 year subscription for "video creation fee" but they also claimed the fee is like less than 50 cents/day, just didnt make any sense how they are not selling things to me when i have to pay out of my pocket. they were rushing to make a deal within 20 minutes of call time, tryied to make me pay through credit card or paypal. i asked them to email me the terms and info. the "supervisor" said that he's too busy to send me info. so i hung up.

- LucyI got a call too a few days ago asking me to pay $360 for 2 years for union referrals. Best of all was the employee. I asked her what is the company name? She didn't know saying she was new. BS! If I am new to company, first thing I will know name of company I work for!

- GUT INSTINCTI received a call from a man from "Union World News" today. Initially it seemed great and the man I was talking to thought he had me going. He turned me over to the website. I was fortunately busy and couldn't be immediately connected to his "higher up". I told the man I couldn't talk any longer and that was when it came in, he said "oh, now don't go clicking on the pages of the website until we have you on the phone again". I hung up and started clicking on the pages of the website. I checked in at gut level and my instincts said that something wasn't right. I took a few moments to research the company. I just don't appreciate anything that uses the heart to make money ... our military .... they've been used enough already. I've researched more than what is on this sight. State of Arizona was where the man first said he was calling from, then Nevada, then he said he covered a three state region in the south west including Colorado. When I asked him why his call came in on my phone that it was from Illinois, he literally began to stutter. The man said that he was recently given the state of Illinois. It was all to "sponsor me in as a counselor". I won't be signing up. FYI any site that promotes more companies than half time shows commercials during the super bowl ... just saying ... NO!

- GregNot calling it a scam, but not signing up for service either. Asking for a $599 fee, to be listed as their credit guy for union workers. Also get supposed top ranking in google. Asked what price is without google and it was $525. Decided to use whois.net to look up the website. Eventually need to go to godaddy to get website info. Site was created 7/1/15 and owned by a Jack Biden. Guy I talked to was supposedly Perry. Anyway, too new of a site to be worthwhile to advertise one, which is what I think the whole premise of this is, blanketed as like you will get referrals from all the unions.
Also noticed when he was selling me the list of UNIONs in my state, I was redirected to another website. The site itself has roughly an Alexa ranking of 1,000,000, so not exactly a high volume traffic site either. According to traffic statistic sites 48% of their traffic was from Phillipines as well.
Again, not calling it a scam but definitely a well presented sales pitch to supposedly get union workers as clients, for what seems like a reasonable fee, being their was nothing monthly to pay for. However, I would only try if you happen to have $600 to throw around to see if you get enough clients to recoup your advertising investment.

- Michael replies to Realtor in San Diego| 1 replyI got the call also from Steven Wood. (702) 330-5148. I listened to him and tried to follow him through the hard to navigate website, he kept saying there are 5000 pages to navigate so just stick with him. I knew more about the site then he did. He kept saying the site must be getting worked on or something was new. NO, he just didn't know what he was doing. Granted, he had some hard facts to provide me and knew what my service area was. When I asked him why there were not any current real estate agents in my area, his response was...they have died ? I can't find that to be true. I asked several times how do I know union members go to this site, he kept telling me, 'because I have already told you they do...'. He told me stats, but I found it hard to be true.
Really? Are Union Members required to read some kind of newspaper. Once I looked at the poor quality of the pics and such, I knew it wasn't for me. He heard me looking around on the internet, he asked what I am doing and then got defensive and quick with me. He probably knew I was looking up 'scam reports'. I only found one while talking to him but I have learned, you must go with your gut. My gut said something was wrong. I told him I would think about it. His response was..... I have two more people to call (he wanted two agents to fill this slot) and I will call you in 3 years and then hung up. Yep, my gut was right. Saved me $365.00 ! ! !
It might be legit, but I do not associate with companies that act in this manner. Beware. Again, the number came from 702-330-5148 - Home Care ProviderI got a voicemail from Celeste Gray at 702-330-5139 saying we were one of four home care providers they wanted to refer people to in our area. I called back and left a voicemail and when she called she turned me over to the lead liaison Chris who said he was an active duty national guard on the weekends. He said he called me because we have helped out veterans, oops, and then corrected himself and said military and union workers. I explained we have never helped military or union before and then he asked if he needed to speak to someone else like the CEO. We have been scammed several times so I had already Googled and found several scam postings. When I looked up the address on the website, it didn't show their business at the address. I explained that I worked for the CEO and I handled these decisions. So I simply asked him for his tax id # and he exploded saying how dare I ask for that and accuse them. I told him I knew this was a scam and he continued to rant and say he was going to "sink us" on Yelp with bad reviews. I kept telling him that it would all be cleared up if he could provide me a tax id # and he continued ranting about how dare I and finally said "you're done" and hung up on me.

- Connie replies to DeniseI got the same phone call from Eric Harrison stating he was the union liaison for the State of Kentucky. He was looking for places that provided massage therapy. I figured it was a scam right up front so I just put him off and won't call back.
- Jamie replies to MichaelI'm a Realtor in Washington and I also just got the call from Steven Wood in Nevada at 702.330.5148. Incredibly rude when I told him I wasn't interested. Said he would "list" with someone else...sure. I get these calls daily from Oregon, California, Nevada, Iowa and Kentucky. It is absolutely a scam, so please don't give any personal/financial info to them!
- Kenneth Ringstad replies to Receptionist| 2 repliesLooks like you guys are the idiot. Chris Reznor is amazing and has helped me and people I know. He put us on google basically for free for helping union members get discounts you guys are babies.
- Tygerkat replies to Kenneth RingstadAfter all the posts here saying they're a scam, you come on and claim they're a great company. Or rather, "Chris Reznor is amazin"g. Ri-i-ght. And the name-calling really makes us believe you. NOT!

- Billy de HaanAlso received a call from Steven Wood (702) 330-5148 today. Claiming he was from the Union. When I told him I already spoke with a gentleman about 8-9 months ago from the same company, explained he never called back and then I was not interested: he accused me of "sounding" like there was a cost to do this and then insulted me by saying "call me when you figure out how to sell Real Estate". Glad that last phone call made me search online and find this information.

- Bobbie| 1 replyI am a real estate agent in the WI area. Stephen Wood just called me from 702-330-5148 said that a Paul Christensen had referred me (No clue who this is), and that the two agents in Green Bay who use to be their referrals have both passed away. I find it odd that one of the real estate agents has passed over a year ago... If It wasn't a scam, you would think they would have by now a referring agent, and one that was alive to get the truth.

- Jackie replies to mike| 1 replyI signed up for this newspaper for 1 year and never received any response from it. Got the call today from Steven Wood, and when I got the feeling that this was the same deal, I asked his company name, which he gave as "Union Information Services Corp"....no such company when I investigated. I told him I'd call him back, so now I will be blocking the number. At least be up front and honest or I will never trust.
