I just got the call 5 minutes ago at my cell. I did not respond, and no voice message left.

Just got a call from this number at 8 pm on friday. I doubt it's legit.
Caller id said 'nevada state of'

Called, left no message.  9:04 am.  Called the number.  "We are unable to complete your call at this time.  Please try again later.(Automated message)  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, so my questions are WHO and WHY and WHAT do they want?

I am unsure if it is some spoof. I wasn't home when the call came in but caller ID did say State of Nevada. However when trying to call the number back , it was not in service. I ma unemployed..wonder if it was about that? If it is a scam..whatever. HOWEVER for everyone getting their panties in a wad over this..take a deep breath and forget about it! Some of the comments made me almost piss myself laughing.

This # is a phone message blast for a carpet company. The person on the recording is "Richard". Calling the # back does no good because he is not accepting calls right now. This "Richard" needs to stop the phone blasts! I am on the do not call registry, but keep getting this ad call. Next call I get will be recorded and played back to the Police Department.

State of Nevada Unemployment Office in Carson City, Nevada.  The actual call came from an extension of the number (775) 684-6300 which is the 'Contributions Section' department of the State of Nevada Employment Security Division.  Apparently, (702) 486-4000 will show on a caller id for many state government departments.

This # called my phone I was busy and missed the call, I tried to call it back and got "all circuits are busy" msg. then I used a reverse look-up app on my phone it came back "Probation Alessi" . Then the phone rang, it was that same # again, I answered and the woman asked for someone who I don't know. I told her she had the wrong # and she asked me what my name was and I gave her my first name, then she said she must've called the wrong # and said "you don't have someone currently living in a convalescent home do you"?  bizarre!

This number is NV Real Estate Division in Las Vegas.

I just got a call from this number and It was from the Nevada state gaming board. To verify if i was able to work in a casino, because of my background history.
