I get this call everyday from the same number I am in Florida and have family within the 703 area code. I am tired of them burning up my minutes.

rinky dink operation. Amazing that someone put up capitol to fund this effort, and that there are people getting up and going to this job every day. Betcha they have trouble looking at themselves in the mirror at the end of their workday, betcha they have super high hopes for their kids because, Lord knows, their own life and job sucks.

Now There's an Idea, Forward that number to a Fax machine!  Bet they'll stop calling!

Rings a few times a day. No messages are left if the answering machine picks up. How can I stop this?

Please file complaints with the FCC - that's what I've done, also setup call rejection to block that call.

Recording left on voicemail says, "it is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate.  Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice.  Please press the number 1 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate, or press the numer 2 to discontinue further notices.

Got 2 calls from them today on my cell #. I just hit "ignore." They never leave a message. i'm thinking about trashing my phone and just getting a new one with a new number. Now that these evil monkey-people have my cell number, there's no hiding from them. I think I'll go visit Tracfone right now.

Received a call about 30 minutes ago.  They did not leave a voicemail message.  Since our phone number is unlisted, this strongly suggests that the company is using an autodialer.  What aren't autodialers illegal?  They defeat the purpose of having an unlisted telephone number in the first place.  It's strange but it seems like that everyone ELSE has "rights" except the people who merely go to work every day, pay their taxes, and pay their bills.  We are the ones who have the pleasure of being annoyed in our homes day-in and day-out.  And we are told repeatedly that we have no recourse to stop the harrassment.  Sad........

Level3 does not provide this number - it comes from Nationsline.  Of course, they have not been helpful with me to determine the actual company name and file a complaint.  

If nothing else, file a complaint with the FCC (I did)!

Since Caller ID said "Sales Dept", of course I didn't pick up. Googled phone number, got this page, and was glad I didn't pick up.

The call is from the Church of Scientology inviting someone unnamed to a special event in Tampa Florida.  The call sounded like a prerecording on my voice mail but, then they all talk like that normally. The message: "You've enjoyed my tone skill events in the past. Join us on the 3rd of January for a very different event that willget  you very excited. Call the Tampa Org for details. We'll see you there."  Area codes mean nothing these days as organizations such as this often use different numbers to hide their identities.

I'm on the DNC list-it doesn't work-I stopped answering-they keep calling-told them I don't use credit cards-they don't believe me

Received a call offering roofing estimates - it was a pre-recorded message and auto-dialer...offered options (speak to a rep or "9" to opt out).

I did not want to acknowledge the call, so I hung up and reported the call to the FCC (we're on the Federal No Call list)

I recieved the call and missed it. I called the number back and it gave me the option to have my name removed from the call list. I havent recieved another call from the yet. Try that and see what happens. Also I see different types of calls with this number. I used to work for one of these places before and they are contractors paid to get you to make an appointment or buy something for one of companies they represent. Could be 4-7 companies that they represent.
