My caller ID said Greg Hawk. I have now renamed it RNC within my phone and blocked the call.

You are right. The thing is that Greg Hawk Is a Democrat  from Ohio. You should contact the Democratic Party.

I don't know where you got your facts, but it is not Republicans asking for money. I already did a background check and that never came up. and no I am not Republican, could care less about either group just hate when people try the blame game for something that is false. This was all reported to the FCC and if you would have taken the time to look for truth you would have found it

Sorry, but my time is much more important than chasing down the source of every scam call I get.  I received a call from another number (not this one), with the same CID, and a voicemail from the Tea Party patriots was left.  Another call, (different number but from the same CID), did turn out to be a credit card scammer.  Do you see my dilemma?  So, perhaps you also need to do some research.  No blame game, here, just conjecture, based on other's reports and my own experience.

I doubt it's the same Greg Hawk.
