I got the same silence when I picked up.  I give the GOP plenty of money and would think they would have enough sense to respect my privacy.

Once again, another call from this number regarding Republican Politicians.   He tried to talk over me, but I would not allow him.   SCAMMERS  NEED TO STOP ALREADY.  

Where he got the unlisted number is beyond me.  I have done everything I know to block these crazies but it does not do any good.

Just got a call to my cell.  It rang 3 times and THEY hung up.   I guess I wasn't quick enough for them?!  LOL  I wouldn't have answered any way since it was an unrecognized call.  Thankfully, I can block all annoying calls with Sprint (go into Sprint.com to edit your call block list) .  Or, in call log, just highlight phone number until a pop up appears with list of options.  Hit "Add to reject list" and now that caller will always go straight to voicemail.  

I have been getting several calls every day from either A SMITH or ALEX SMITH from several different numbers (one is 703-398-0840).  The first time they called, months ago, I answered and got a very foreign sounding person calling from a noisy call center.  He made no sense and just kept saying things like "great! great!" when I said that I am on the do not call list... I gave up and hung up.  It was NOT a political call.  Since then, I get several calls a day, they let it ring about 3 times and disconnect.  It is disturbing since I stop what I'm doing to go answer the phone - no way to know who is calling until I get there - and by the time I get to the phone they stop, but I see the ID.  I have reported over and over to donotcall.gov and apparently they are doing nothing!  No surprise there due to the ".gov"....

The do not call list does not work. Took a telamarketer all the way to the FCC and they said to change my number. So do not waste your time.  Just do what I do, Just get real nasty with them and they will go away.

You can NOT nail them on the DNC  - They exempted themselves as did the Damnocrats. All political orgs ar EXEMPT -they can bother your 'Privacy' at anytime....

My solution is to mute the TV, answer the call and not make any noise until they hang up.  Not sure if it does any good toward annoying the caller but it makes me feel better.  Yes, I use caller ID.

Call came as Anonymous.  Don't now anyone by that name:) Morons.
No message and didn't answer either.

This was my second call from this number.  I just returned the call and someone picked up and I asked if this was the number for Alex Smith.  The guy said he didn't know ???

RNC you will never get another donation from me, nor will any politician who continues to pester my aging body with unsolicited phone calls. I stopped making political contributions after you gave my name and number to every Tom, Dick and Harry in your party. If I gave you millions more, you ignorant greedy self promoting jerks still wouldn't be able to perform your duties. You are too interested in feathering your own nests.  You passed a law to protect us from unsolicited calls and then exempted yourselves. How very typical of you.

I sure hope I don't get more, I won't answer. It can be a spoof, people or firms using NSA like techniques can use other numbers to appear to be someone else (but NSA is wayyyyyyy more able, of course)

Called several times, this time caller I.D. was Terry Kelly.

The number shows up as Terry Kelly (703-398-0840). I do not know anyone with this name. I have not answered,
but suspect that the above posts are correct. Calls about once a day.

Caller ID is Terry Kelly, in my case, today.  However reading other comments, regarding this number, I have received other calls with A. Smith or Alex Smith as the "caller".  Any way you slice it, it must all be an attempt to beg for cash for the Republicans.  I would give, if they would earn it, but they're not, so I won't.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, regardless.

Caller ID says "Greg Hawk."  So they try to make it look like an old friend or something.  Just Great.

I swear, if I ever donate money again, they will get my new number, 770-867-5309.  Hmm, I feel sorry for whoever has that number.

Just saw this number and caller ID on my printer said Greg Hawk. I only my home phone for faxes only so it was robo call vs. rob fax. They had abut a 30 second conversation (squeals and screeches) and hung up
