did not leave message or any unsolicited promotion info

caller id: Alex Smith

Called 12:03 on 6/26/13.  Caller ID said "Alex Smith". The republicans must be too embarrassed to identify themselves.

It is a "College Republicans" donations plea under the guise of a "One-Question Survey" about Obama. Not a DNC violation -- but annoying nonetheless.

Aren't those telemarketers getting tricky!!  Used to be that no name came up on caller ID!  Dead giveaway.  But now you wonder if it's really somebody you know.  I guess we should just never answer the phones----EVER!

Calling and not leaving a message on the answering machine usually in the evening.. After looking up the number and the organization, I would like to find a way to get on their "do not call list". Very irritating!

This is the same kind of calls we were getting a few years ago from the so called "Tea Party" but was not the Tea Party.  It was some rogue company using the Tea Party front to find out when people were home and when they weren't.  Now they are doing it again using the College Republican Committee.  On my caller ID it's showing up as Alex Smith or A Smith.  I'm going to report it to our state Attorney General as robocalls in my state are not allowed by law.

This number said it was from Alex Smith.  It was the 3rd call so I picked up and said nothing.  There was no one speaking, so I hung up.

A call from Alex Smith 703 398-0840 happens nearly every day.  I answer and they immediately hang up.  How can I get this to stop?

The caller is ID'd as Alex Smith.  I've gotten numerous calls from A. Smith, Alex Smith and A. Schriver.  Research shows that A. Schriver is a past president of an organization known as "College Republicans," or "National College Republicans."  It's not clear how legit this organization is or whether it actually has anything to do with college campuses.  It appears to be a very right wing political group of some sort.  I get the calls from several different phone numbers, this 703 number but more often from 301-223-0051.  I never pick up and no one leaves a message.

I have been receiving calls from this number every couple of days for the last 3 weeks.  I have ignored all of them and am now blocking them knowing they are bogus.

My caller ID says Alex Smith.

Unsolicited call.  No response.

Have gotten several calls from this "alex smith"--I've answered twice-they don't say anytHing

The number 703-398-0840 continues to call my home phone.  The caller ID says "Alex Smith" above the number.  It is very annoying.

They've called a few times -- Alex Smith is the name on caller I.D.   Answered once:  College Republicans.

We have no beef with them but already told them to call OBAMA as he has all our money now -- taxed away and distributed to the miscreants around the USA.  Nothing left for the good guys!   Sorry kids.

I received a call yesterday and again today. Answered both times and no answer.  Will not answer again.
